Emily Gurnavage

In many stories stuff like that usually only applies to the mindless undead. Dunno for sure bout this story. But these undead all have minds, so that might be the difference. Or maybe she has to intentionally want it?

E

A lot of statistical anomalies all going through the System at the same time as Sofia. At least 38,000 people above lvl 300 (and these are just the ones still alive) yet the guild master from Sofia's homeland gets historical 15th in an event and Sun's Saintess, leveling up as quickly as Sofia, gets historical 21st. You've got Saria, Ezerid, Moon oracle vampire (I'm terrible with names... Astelia?), and others all pacing Sofia and performing better than tens of thousands of people before them. Saint Tartaros being the fastest to hit 500 (54 years) is starting to look like a very easy score to beat for several people.

Striving Spark

Sofia... I'm pretty sure you're the last person who should be complaining about classes that "shouldn't even exist"

Matt Grayson

God, an Arch-Lich book page would be sweet.

InfernalDrake

Doesn't Sofia charm all undead in her vicinity? Would that come up here?

Mrluigi1111111

Sofia's already cheated half a dozen times this trial, but in an event built for it? She's gonna bring the whole house down.

Daemion

I have the feeling that cheating is expected and might even be something that gets graded for points in the end. If the casino can't figure out how you cheated, you get the maximum points. I would also assume that you can't win if you play fair. So the entire setup is just a cover for the real trial. Or something.

Whyer

Can’t wait for Sofia to steal everything, including the Arch-Lich >:D Even if it’s just for points and not a new minion.

Matt Grayson

Chekhov's punch returns! Thank you, Mornn, for letting our favorite side characters be OP as well.

Ceasar Salas

Thanks for the chapter!

Sure the most valuable things would be in a storage ring, but you gotta have a lot of readily available funds just to run the day to day of such a big business, big logistics issues there, so you never know what you can find.

Lazy Monster

TFTC. Time for the heist mission! If Sofia bets her life do they just get the one if she loses or what?

Wensber

Thanks for the chapter!

Cyclone001

I do want to see Sofia make off with an absolute fortune, and I have nothing against her using robbery to do it, but she is not the first person in history to think of that I'm sure. Moreover, why would a vault even exist in a world with perfectly secure storage items? I can't help but think most people and institutions would store their valuables using a password protected storage item in the margin. Maybe TLDR designed some corporate version storage items where multiple items can access the same place and have per user withdrawl limits or something?

Mornn

More like... Kuli's signature skill does 'put things back to their starting state' after its activation, but... It has its limits

OmniGlitcher

Well, that's certainly a way to limit break. Bit confused on why the crystal breaks twice though? Just the trial repairing itself?

phantom

Fifty million gold? Ehh makes some pocket change.

forwad Nothing

In all fairness, everyone else is going to cheat in 2-3 games, Sophia’s going to play the cautious gambler till she finds her target, then she’s going to rob everything, even the skeletons.

Shelbo

God I love cheating the House, fuck the House and get your money by any means necessary

Mornn

Kuli just brought her in like the first time back in book 1

forwad Nothing

How did Sophia notice the timestop? I must have missed read something

KazukiNero

And they were worried only Sophia was going to break the casino.
