When I want to increase participation in the things I run I offer free giveaways lol or incentive points etc. So this might actually increase participation and be its own solution. I think people do get confused but vam users are pretty smart so i try to give them the benefit of the doubt and trust them to find their way (and then regret it when they destroy everything lol). I do support this idea... but I feel it could def be more. And ironically as with all good ideas it may lead to more people adopting it via the tier system. Give a little to get a lot is the vam way in my experience haha Eitherway its good youre trying new things...as vam gets stale so quickly.

I like the more "creative" idea and surely will take it into account to consider maybe later on - maybe slightly changed though. In fact your idea sounds really cool - and as a creative mind I love it. In reality this is something that would cause a lot of confusion - plus only a hand full of people would actually have this event on their radar anyways. Where ever I can I try very hard to keep our small C&G community alive and let our members to participate via polls and other decisions in the past, being active on discord and hear everybodies idea out - bring some of them to life also. But overall the participation never is above 50%. C&G is my personal lighthouse in a "pay for - take it - throw away" community filled with cheap/fast productions. You can be absolutely sure the last thing I would do is to abuse my Love to make a few additional bucks. The Mystery Box is something no one ever thought about - or even thought to dare. I am shooting financially in my own leg with this whole thing but on the other hand I simply love the thought alone collabing with other cool artists to create something special and unique every month.

I understand it and like the idea and I like the idea of paying forward your success to others. And bringing creators into the "cg fold" as it were. But I don't like that it costs more lol....even if it has to. I wonder if there an another way to make this work ...a more creative way befitting your creativity and the altruistic theme behind it . Something all existing patrons could benefit without extra cost. Maybe ...randomly assign a few free mystery boxes relative to the number of patrons (5-10%?) to patrons of more than 3 months every month. Each month do a lotto day we can all look forward to and share in each other's success. Call it Mystery Monday 1st Monday of the month lol So yes you're doubling down on the mystery idea... but atleast everyone could potentially benefit from it removing any negative association often given lootboxes. If the goal is to highlight other creators and expose our community to new things...I can't think of a better way which doesn't 100% lock such a lovely idea behind another paywall. Just an idea...

I understand your concerns and I would agree if this would be "just" regular content on top of our regular production. Forming an other higher tier out of regular content is something we would never do - although we know others having this "dirty" habbit. However the Mystery Box contains content from various high tier artist we commission from - This alone would "justify" the box as we pay for it. But on top of it we build a scene in C&G typical charme. And this is not all cause we hope the more supporters we gain on the box tier - the more content we can comission, the bigger the box gets plus we can wrap something neat around it.

Hmmm I like the idea but felt if should have started free for top tier or all and then evolved from there based on feedback. It feels like...a lootbox. Which is a dirty word to me. But I don't think it is a lootbox...
