In Portugal we start celebrating Christmas on the 24th. We have a Christmas Eve dinner where we cook and spend time with the family. At midnight we open the presents and then on the 25th we have a family lunch and spend the day together!
Here are some photos of tonight! I've been recovering from food poisoning so I barely had any of the food, but it's okay!
This year none of my family is here, only my bf's family. So to feel a but more like home I cooked my favourite dish that my mom usually does: bacalhau com natas! It was so delicious and it made me happy!
Hope you all have a good weekend, regardless of celebrating Christmas or not. Much love ๐
Ps. We all tested negative for covid several times over the last week so it would be safe to get together!

Merry Christmas, Maya. And you too jtrev04. Sucks to be alone, but VR sounds good to me! Sounds and looks like you (Maya) have the Chrustmss cheer in full swing! We do Christmas morning stockings and presents and pretty much eat all day and enjoy each other's company. Hope everyone is safe and has a good time celebrating or not. Peace to all! ๐ค

Merry Christmas Maya! Growing I use to love celebrating on Christmas Eve and opening presents that night. Sometimes we would do traditional Christmas morning, but the Eve nights were so fun. Iโm alone this year for Christmas so I got myself a VR headset the other day and Iโm completely escaping reality ๐
