WIP: Almost ready for launch!

Hello! Weekly WIP update...
First of all, I'm sorry about no patreon video in a little while. I was working on the wet shirt tutorial, but while recording for Thancred, I realized following the same method I did it for G'raha didn't work very well. I'm trying to figure out a better, more guaranteed way to achieve it, but I will have to test it out with more characters. I think it's better to make sure it works before making something that might not work, so the video can be more useful. If I don't, I'm still going to show the step by step of how I did his specifically, so at least I get to show how that one works.
At least because of it now I have Summer Thancred fully rigged and working - this is his regular shirt in the render, by the way, not the modified one. It doesn't fit in the video so have a Thancred render that won't be used :')
And this week's been a little bit overwhelming with work for me...I've been neglecting some deadlines too that I should be working on right now. I'm actually bad at keeping myself organized. Not proud of it but it happens more often than I wish it did.
However, not all's been bad though because...main reason for that was because I got way too excited about the video and it's ALMOST DONE!
Here's the full, completed timeline! 1:24 minute video :)
Just one little quick animation at the end to finish, and it will be done 1 week earlier than I needed it to! Might still make a few adjustments to things I wish were different if I find an alternatives, might leave it as is.
Which means I'll use next week to put get my life together with the extra work and finish a few videos to post here. And I want to start planning my next project, too!
...or projects. Because there's one specific, very long and complex idea that just won't leave my brain that I'm considering starting to work in parallel with the others as a side thing. If a 1 minute anime-opening took me 2 months to finish, how long would a 2:40 fast-paced angsty MV about the Exarch take...? ...hypothetically. I could go at it little by little between other videos... π
I also finished another G'raha animation that is competing to be my favorite with the Summer one. As much as this game concept is predatory gacha that shouldn't exist, this one thing makes me wish it did...
I've been trying to make more facial expressions with open-mouth, teeth-showing smiles. For me these are the hardest to get right (both for 3D character and me in real life). I hope these are starting to look better with time!
And this is it for now. I will try my best to have something to show you next week! I really want to have more videos to post for you. I'm sorry I haven't been able to keep consistency recently :')

Thank you!!!! I hope you like it~ And yes you get it!! It sounds like I'm going exactly through that right now :') I'm struggling to have the discipline and self-control to focus on what I should be focusing on these days. And I did the mistake of having premiere open when I was jolting down notes of that new project, too!!!...which leads me to spending way longer than I should already in it - I got the lyrics translated and timed to the music and notes on what I want to put in which part. I can share them with you if you're interested! I will follow your advice and let those rest for a while without opening them up - for such a long project, I still need to really think it through how to make it happen without slowing down all the other ideas, while still getting it done someday. I know that having time away from any personal project really helps us to see things that we couldn't when thinking about it constantly! It's just really hard to find that balance at the start for me! Thank you so much β€οΈ

Oh my, it looks so good and dreamy and summery and I am so ready <3.π₯° My body is also ready for the exarch angst mv ._. Tho, I know how hard is is when you have work to do with deadlines but your creative mind wants to work on something else. It's hard and for me personally, it kinda can slow both projects down. Don't burn out trying to do too much at once. :) For me, when I notice I can't focus on the thing I need to do because I feel inspired to work on something else, I take a break and scribble or write down the ideas in notepad++, without actually having any other work apps open and not really starting the work on the project yet. It gives me peace of mind that I wont forget the best parts once I get around to it. Since the idea is hyping me up now, once I have time to go back and read the notes again I hope they rekindle that hype for the project a second time, when it is more reasonable for me to start working on it. π
