WIP: Astral Draw!

Hello! How is everyone? Crafting on the moon far longer than we should? I am.
But I also had some really good progress to share from next video~
I already got a full timeline planned out! I also already have two shots out of 8 fully animated, might finish another one today.
I'm trying to add lots of effects to some of those, as you can see by the mess. Honestly videos like this where I want to add a lot of it makes me think about downloading and learning After Effects again, since it's the most "appropriate" software for this kind of stuff...but at this point I'm feeling more lazy than anything to get to it.
And also my PC is starting to struggle, so I don't think it'd be a good idea...sometimes even Premiere refuses to work. As soon as my C: folder starts going on the red, it decides it's not getting good work conditions and rebels...
I really need to do something about this. I'm also not an organized person, so I know there's a lot of duplicated stuff there and things that I don't need that could cut this by at least 1/3.
Some of the shots might take longer to animate, because they're really close and touching...and animation with contact and two characters this close is harder to make. But even though this one is actually a silly funny video, I still wanted to have romantic scenes because I wanted to animate those for a while, now. So I paired that with the fact that I'm raiding this tier as AST to learn it.
You know, making the WHM video actually helped me learn white mage better when I was picking it up - because I had to repeatedly see the skills and their names and got used to their sound effects and learn where I could use them in the video! So might as well do that as AST, too. I might keep doing the job videos as I try them out...maybe I will try SCH next, since I'm on my healer era. She'd enjoy trying to impress G'raha as a Scholar...hmmm...
I'm estimating this one might take two or three weeks more to finish!
I think I also resolved my microphone issues so this weekend I will be recording and editing the Behind the Scenes for the Triple Triad video. If there's anything you're curious about that specific one and want me to show in that one, let me know! I will try to get the video ready for sunday or monday. :)

Hii! The aesthetics are definitely the first thing that makes me want to play AST!!! The skills are all so pretty...and then my static was also very happy to have AST in the group because they'd get damage buffs... :x I was struggling to get the hang of it at first - it's a lot more buttons to worry about than WHM! - but I think I'm getting used to it little by little. I'm sure you'd get used to it if you decided to try it too~ though I admit it was frustrating in the beginning, specially because I was healing thinking like an WHM. AST feels very different. There's an automatic way to clean up?! OMG, thank you for this!! I...I actually used to go to the temp folder manually to delete stuff - specifically the premiere cache and blender auto save which are usually the things that fill that up faster. I considered turning the auto save off but it saved me a few times so I'd rather not! But I just got rid of more 16gb with that cleanup! After Effects has so many easier options to do things than Premiere!! Most of the time I feel like I'm going around and improvising something that could be done there with one single button :') sometimes I search how do certain effects and it's usually "just do it in AE"...I know they both can work together to make even cooler stuff easier. I will try to learn it too, eventually!...not that I'm not saying that for almost a year now, but... Ohh of course!!! I can share both the textures and the 3D file if you'd like! :D would love to see the 3D printed result!!!!

Hi Liz! I am looking foreward to your new project, I really like the AST asthetic, but am too stupid to play it myself.... Have fun with it! Regarding your storage problem, windows as a build in "Disk Cleanup" programm, which you can get to by hitting Settings/Storage. Let that scan your C or D drive and click "temporary Data" This will let you delete old temp files, cached thubnails, and old windows updates. I run it once a month and usually delete between 10 to 20 gigs. :) Personally, I only work in After Effects, So I am always really impressed by the effect work you manage to get done in premiere :D ...But it is really "heavy" software.. I have 100 gigs reserved for AE on my C drive and it still fights me sometimes 😓 For the Triple Triad Video, this might not really be behind the scenes related, but if your willing to share your Raha card textures I am willing to 3D Print them :D

I'll get to gathering too when I'm done with a few crafting relics :P still not tried it yet! Expert recipes are just too addicting to me... Oh thank you I'll look into that! Downloading the free one right now. I'm actually very bad with this stuff in general and managing it all as you can see :x

Shame on you, I'm not crafting more than I should >:3 (instead I'm gathering more than I should) So, why don't you give a try on CCleaner? Some functions are paid, yes, but the most useful is free. My computer had more than 8 GB of junk files that I couldn't clear simply. Also, I suggest you look into your users on your computer just to be sure there isn't any sneaking.
