When All Hope Seems Lost

I think this one feels way too serious and a little personal for me. I still want to share with everyone here though, so I hope you enjoy it!
It was still relaxing and good practice to make! I hope I got the hug right, I really tried to get in a few details that I enjoy. I really like animating hugs, and watching animated hugs in general, so I always want to get better at them. :)
As for context, this one I imagine would be a scene after the Final Days scene in Radz-at-Han. As much as the WoL is used to fighting and reacting in these situations, reflecting on it and the people we couldn't save right in front of us still must feel like a heavy burden, no matter how many times it happens. For Lizard, of course G'raha would be there to comfort her. I'm sure he must understand the feeling too well.
I mentioned in the WIP post I've been feeling sad and unmotivated, and that's why I was working on this. Might sound silly for a lot of people, but the main reason for that is actually because I really hated the Dawntrail MSQ. I'm very, maybe way too attached to the story and the characters, and I just couldn't enjoy it the way it is. The way it's been very divisive on social media and actually hard to talk about's been getting to me as well. So that was my way of remembering G'raha Shadowbringers and Endwalker and feeling like there's always hope...I guess? Sorry if that sounds dumb. It's my way to cope, okay. Let me have this.
So don't expect anything at all about Dawntrail from me for a while. I still have lots of ideas I want to make about Endwalker and Shadowbringers, but until I can sort out my feelings about Dawntrail, guess no one will ever have to worry about spoilers. :P
Next one will be cute, funny and lighthearted, I promise!

For me Graha is put in the little brother zone so seeing him happy with Lizard is nice and very cute, he deserves the world and I totally support the ship lmao XD Claire giving him a thumbs up.

Thank you for understanding! I love how FFXIV made us all love our characters and form our personal connections with the world, and for me DT is the first time I feel such dramatic change :')

Oh I've had my struggles with motivation as well (like, now, actually, lol) But it always seems to come back, usually when I try something new! I really enjoyed this! Thank you for sharing. It's been a joy seeing your animations evolve, but the constant has always been your ability to connect your characters with the audience. SO GOOD.
