Thank you very much everyone that voted on that poll to make it happen. I really hope you all enjoy it! Again, I was really happy that you wanted to see this one. :)
...this took me quite some time. The first WIP I have saved here is the layout from september 5th. :x
I've been working on it for so long that I'm at the stage that I can only see the technical mistakes now. I guess it's the right time to post it!
Please let me know what you think! Looking back the first version I did one year ago, I'm very happy with my progress. But I can still see things I could improve on this one too, which is good. Means I still have things to improve and maybe next year I will be able to see even more progress! I'm not remaking this one again though, the is the definitive version. :P
About that last bonus part, my logic behind it is...first, I wanted to animate G'raha embarassed because he's cute.
And then, I was wondering how the next day would go, if the Scions would be aware of them being together now, and if anyone would say anything. In my headcanon, this is their first kiss, and then they skipped a few steps.
From 5.3 to Endwalker, their relationship is that infuriating slowburn where both of them are very into eachother but don't realize it, while everyone around them is either being patiently supportive or rolling their eyes. Everyone except Alisaie, who is probably in denial. :x
Lizard is bad with words and even worse at expressing her feelings clearly, so she never says anything. Meanwhile, G'raha is too respectful to try to cross any lines. I don't think he'd ever be the first to confess (I mean DIRECTLY, it's not like he didn't basically propose at least 5 times already--) without clear sign that it would go well, and at this point he would struggle to believe she is actually in love with him...and I really wanted to convey that with the kiss. She isn't sure she should be doing that in the first place, but considering the situation, how they're alone, how things are getting really serious and world-threatening around them at this point in the story, she thought maybe there wouldn't be another opportunity. And before she can regret being too forward, G'raha makes his move, now that he got the sign he needed.
But then, what of the next day? Immediately after this quest, the Final Days start in Radz at Han, and they barely have time to talk or focus on anything else, so for both of them, having that kind of attention on them would be inappropriate.
Estinien is probably the best person he could actually run into in this situation. He gets it, and wouldn't gossip about it. He wouldn't tease G'raha either, and he even kept Alisaie away because she is probably the worst one that could be there...she would probably be very annoyed.
I also considered Thancred for a while because he would very much tease G'raha about it and probably also keep Alisaie away, but decided Estinien would be nicer. Y'shtola would probably just stare, then pretend she didn't see anything...but then tease him about it the very first opportunity.
So this works for how no one in canon really said anything and how they didn't talk about it later during the story, I guess. :P
And by the way, for me the moment Alisaie finds out about them is the promise scene in Ultima Thule. And in the end, we know she would want the best for both of them and wouldn't really have any problems with it.
Anyway, I really hope you enjoy it! I can say for sure that I really tried my best at animating it, and I still have a lot to show in my behind the scenes videos over here. If there's anything you're particularly curious about, let me know!

Thank you!! I'm glad you liked it~ Oh the graphic update definitely helped!! I think I did get close to most of these expressions with the old rig, but they feel more smooth now because of the additional controllers, specially for the mouth. The eyes look so good now too, they look more realistic. I love how her eyes look, with the new limbal rings! And because I also upgraded the Blender version I was using, I could add more detail to the shaders and lighting too! I still felt like I have a LOT to learn about lighting, I had a few problems here and there that I should try figuring out for the next one. But since that first video I feel much more comfortable with Blender in general, so the experience is a big part of it as well!
