This is the biggest update for Rebel Duet so far, combining the original plans for both v0.8 and v0.9. It took quite a bit of effort to release such an update in a reasonable amount of time, but I'm very happy with how it turned out overall.
This version concludes Act 2, and sets the stage for Act 3 in the epilogue. Out of the 8 planned story arcs for Rebel Duet, Act 3 is the one I have been most excited to work on, and I can't wait to get started. In the meantime, though, I hope you enjoy the conclusion to the Oruth story arc!
The new training positions include: Anal Reverse Cowgirl (Male), Bondage Sex (Male), Blindfold Deepthroat (Male), Strap-On Sex (Female), Blindfold Cunnilingus (Female), and Bondage Fingering (Female).
As a head's up, these sex scenes will need to be accessed through an older save (or fast-forwarded to in a new playthrough), as the story content in v0.8 does not have a new training session. You will also need the appropriate toys for some of these positions, which can be obtained during the second visit to the sex shop.

It was enjoyable update, except one little thing. More on that in a bit, but I do like a happy ending so that made it look better in the end:) Now, by the end of update, it was clear some things were necessary for the larger plot. Also I understand there is probably some pressure to keep MC at the center of attention so he doesn't end up looking like just a sidekick to Valerie. But, that doesn't mean he should be pushed to do things he can't. It just looks silly. So MC decides to rescue this girl, alone... by going against hardened badass gang leader who killed hundreds... all without consulting with Valerie... because he cooked up some poison plan of dubious nature. This is one of those moments when you can't help but roll your eyes:) But ok, he learned his lesson and..... yeaaaaah he didn't because he then does it again. He now wants to play even bigger macho man going against Oruth 1 on 1, even though MC barely knows how to hold a sword properly... and even Valerie just goes along with it. The good thing is he didn't win a sword fight at least, because that would be even more ridiculous and he did pay a price so that's fair, but it was just too silly. Also, I did like choices presented. Sorry for the rant, but it was somewhat uncharacteristic for them both. So far MC, I think was fairly normal person in his situation, but in this episode he went full retard. I understand certain outcome is necessary for the plot, but it doesn't have to be like this. This time MC was a classic retard hero who "somehow" always ends up sorting everything out despite making all the wrong decisions. Anyway, I probably said to much, but to end things on a good note I'll say just one more. Images in this game are really nice and high quality, so good job whoever is creating them. I use a few as wallpapers on my computer and they look really nice.

Hi there! Thank you for the explanation. I will be looking forward to the next update, then. I hope to get more into the romantic stuff. I agree: if you wanted to expand the adventure part of the story line, then it you should focus on it rather than throw in an erotic scene without it making any real sense. I may look into taking an older save or starting again to get the full update.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, and sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it. I can understand why the update might be lacking if you are playing primarily for the sexual content. I had considered adding a sex scene in between the action, but ultimately felt it would disrupt the pacing and tension of the Act 2 climax. As v0.9 will see the main cast return to their daily lives, it will have more of a sexual focus again. A lot of the build-up for romance and sex with other characters (Annestria, Rena, and the new woman) was made in this update. So, from Act 3 onwards, all heroines will become available as sexual options. There were 3 new training positions added in this update for the female protagonist, including strap-on sex which a lot of players have requested. But since you need to load an older save to see these scenes in the current update, it's very easy to miss, and I can see why that would contribute to the issue you had with the update.

Well, I always look forward to the new releases of this project. But this one was a bust for me. I am sorry to say. I follow the lesbian route and there was zero erotic content. Quite frankly, the adventure stuff is nice and well. But I am following this project for the lesbian erotic content rather than sword fights and skeletons and stuff. So, for what I am looking for, the update unfortunately came up empty. There are all these female characters introduced into the story but there is zero erotic content with them. I hope that future updates will focus on the erotic content a bit more again.
