How to access your chosen Tier benefits!
🕑 Added 2020-07-14 16:03:09 +0000 UTCEach Patreon Tier has its own benefits attached to it, to which you will gain access. Check your membership on what Benefits your Tier has. This list is just a helpful guide on how to access the benefits all Tiers have.
Attention: If your Tier contains one or more Discord benefits, please wait for the Patreon bot to invite you. If it does not invite you in a reasonable timeframe, please contact Patreon's support. Note that the Patreon bot may not invite you at all if you ignored the generated Discord link on the after-purchase page.
Credits entry in all (active) Projects
[Tiers: Stone and higher]
This is done automatically with the Patreon API in active projects and will contain information you've made public on Patreon.
Access to the Supporter exclusive Discord
[Tiers: Copper and higher]
First link your Patreon and Discord accounts as shown in this guide. Make sure you're linking your Patron account, not your Creator account. Once you've done that, you should wait for the Patreon bot to add or invite your to the proper Server. This will normally be instantaneous, but sometimes takes a few hours to days.
If it hasn't invited you to the proper Server after 24 hours, please try unlinking and relinking your Discord and Patreon accounts. If that still doesn't help, please contact Patreon Support. If it did invite you, you should automatically have the necessary role to read and write in the Supporter Area.
(Early-)Access to Supporter exclusive releases
[Tiers: Silver and higher]
The steps here are identical to the "Access to the Supporter exclusive Discord", with the exception that you will be able to see the "Exclusive Releases" category instead.
1 Hour of 1-on-1 Support for (active) projects
[Tiers: Gold and higher]
The steps here are identical to the "Access to the Supporter exclusive Discord". From these steps onwards, you can write your problem or question into "1on1-support", and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
In the event that your problem or question requires a direct session, I will contact you with a few date and time combinations, and you can pick from these. At the agreed to date and time, we'll be meeting in the "1on1-voice" channel and I will help you directly with your problem or question.

Hello! As stated in the pinned post, as well as on the tier itself, the minimum Tier for access to releases is Silver. Bronze is for the Discord itself only.

Sorry for bothering you here, I just paid for the Bronze membership and linked my Discord successfully entered Xaymars Technikhaufen, but still cannot find a channel named #streamFX-exclusive

Which one did you use? The one generated by Patreon itself should work just fine.

Yeah but you don't make it clear that you mean "Supporter Credits" rather than "Credits to access StreamFX".

As written above, as well on the Tiers themselves, to access exclusive releases you need a tier with exlusive releases.

No, I did not write that you can only support by the month, and I'm not sure how you've gotten to this conclusion. What I've stated in a comment above is that you can't switch between annual and monthly membership at will - once you pick one, you're stuck with it until the end. Patreon even warns you about this on the checkout page, and (at least on Desktop) shows a tooltip on the greyed out monthly option. If you do not wish for an annual membership, then please contact me via the messaging system.

So I joined for a year.. and how are you writing that we can only support by the month? And I don't get an answer from Patreon how to change that. I am more than happy to beta.. Having been doing this for years at Adobe, Ross Video, Vizrt and about 1/2 a dozen others. but nothing in the instructions said to do monthly only. Please advise..

If you incorrectly signed up for an annual membership instead of a monthly one, you'll have to contact Patreon to fix it for you.
How can I make that work ? The monthly option is not availble to me. Monthly is greyed out. I want to try the auto tracking for a weekend and if it works will happily pay for the year.

Hello! You only need to support at Medium Supporter tier once to get access to pre-releases for that month. It is not necessary to continue supporting at Smol Supporter for now.

Hi KUP0, make sure that you've connected your Patron account to Discord. You can check what "type" of Account you're correctly working on in the bottom left in a browser. Once you've linked your account properly, just join the linked Discord and wait for the Patreon bot to wake up. Unfortunately, to prevent fraud and similar, I can't do manual verifications.

Sorry to bug you Xaymar, I'm also having patreon-discord connection issues. I subbed to Tier 2, connected my Discord and waited 24 hours but unfortunately I don't see any channels except the rules and news. I tried to disconnect/reconnect my Discord, but that didn't seem to help either. Tried other suggestions based on Google, but nothing worked. Would you be able to manually verify by chance?

Nachdem du Discord mit Patreon verbunden hast, wirst du zu einem Discord namens "Xaymars Technikhaufen" eingeladen (wenn nicht, link ist im post oben). Dort findest du den #streamfx-exclusives kanal, in dem die neuesten Releases hochgeladen werden.

Ich kenne mich mit Patreon nicht aus und wollte einfach nur StreamFX nutzen.. Finde die einzelnen Optionen nicht eindeutig. Schade. Umsonst Geld ausgegeben.

In the post there are two links, please use the first link to link your Patreon and Discord accounts, then use the 2nd link to join the Discord if Patreon does not automatically invite you. Note that you still need to have the appropriate tier.

It is fully automatic, provided by Patreon. Their bot sometimes falls asleep, and sometimes payment verification by Patreon takes an unusually long amount of time.
