An Update Regarding Lost Access
🕑 Added 2025-07-22 19:04:18 +0000 UTCUpdate: We have found a way to reinstate access to people who have migrated over too late. The process feels like it shouldn't work, but it does:
The affected user cancels their active subscription.
We refund their payment.
We block and then unblock the affected user.
The affected user resubscribes under the new tier structure.
This works if you need access now.

Heyo everyone, Xaymar here,
back in January we announced a new Tier structure and announced that the old Tiers would gradually be removed. Many users have properly migrated as the new Tier structure saved them money while others ignored it until it was too late. This resulted in them losing access - but unfortunately not regaining access when they migrated over after the old Tiers were removed.
From what we've been able to gather this is a bug on Patreons end for which we can do nothing. We tried getting Patreon to address the bug but I'm fairly sure that our tickets are being answered by some sort of AI or assisted AI bot. The answers Patreon has given us so far usually tend to be completely off-topic or full of excuses and PR speak. You know, the "your call is important to us" kind of PR speak.
Until Patreon properly addresses the issue we can only offer refunds for those affected by the migration issue. Please contact us via Direct Messages on Patreon to have things sorted.

i just resubscribed after not being subbed for a few months and i'm hit with this issue. i shouldnt have been affected because im a returning subscriber so it should be a new tier now.

Please make sure you have followed the steps outlined on the membership page. We've recently improved the text there so people don't miss it as often by moving it out of the always ignored FAQ section.
