POLL: Should we invest time in making StreamFX functional with additional OBS Studio versions?

It's come to our attention that a few people are using or prefer quite old versions of OBS Studio due to various stability and plugin reasons. So here's the question: Do you want us to spend the extra time to ensure compatibility with older versions of OBS Studio?
Note that restricting ourselves to be compatible with older versions of OBS Studio does incur hefty performance penalties on those versions, and some features just straight up won't exist due to missing API features.

Being API/ABI compatible means that we build for the latest version, but we advertise compatibility with older OBS Studio versions that have the same API/ABI. For example, 31.0 and 31.1 are API/ABI compatible and the plugin works on both if built with 31.0 instead of 31.1.

No old version pls! Most software updates pretty quickly and already requires the latest OBS, but we're still on version 31.1

We could do it that way. Currently we try to keep things as latest as possible as it includes many required improvements (weak object references, UUIDs instead of names, ...). That way we keep the branches separate, including the overhead it causes the further back we go.
