I assume 99.99 indefinite is the cap. Tho i guess there could be something that makes him unharmable, like Lehesion being immune to most damage

Is 100% resistance possible? Or is 99.9999999999999999999999999'% the cap?

Ignat Remizov

He did wear armor before, it was the way he hid his identity in the tournament. Remember the power armor disks given to him by Torix?

alexander julian

Now that the armour is fully just part of his body now can he put on new armour? Like. Sentinel armour...?

alexander julian

Man I'm just stuck on stamina: infinite bloke I know it effectively already was but what happens if he can use it in some way other than just always being at full force

I have no idea, honestly. But I would hazard a guess that the time spent on earth between the Yawm arc and this one might be the reason Daniel feels its been so long. Since he rarely ever gets to relax (nor does he need) like he did then, his sense of time may be blurred. Then again, it might just be the author's mistake.

"Strange" is kinda the correct term tho?

hehe! can't wait to meet the Emperor!

Wait, it's only been a little over a year since Daniel joined the System hasn't it?

TheHoblit

These quarks are very compacted, for grammars sake I think this should be "compact"

Nakkus

Awesome! Thanks for the chapter!

Wrath

Awesome

Monsoon117

I'd rather make everything else more epic and powerful than make Daniel weaker though. I'll definitely think about it and what's appealing about that idea overall. Maybe I can extract the good and leave the bad of it if that makes sense.

Monsoon117

Ayeeee. I may not be inevitable, but I know someone who is.

Monsoon117

This is pretty similar to what I have planned, though I don't know about the reset. It will have that element, but in a technical sense. The reason for that is robbing Daniel of his progression would really suck as a reader and for him. It would be tremendously demotivating I'd imagine.

crusty pickle

It would give him more versatility, and make the scaling slow down

Shawn Liu

You probably already have plans for the multiverse upgrade, but I'd like to offer a suggestion - what if Daniel has to 'grow' his various dimensions? and different dimensions could perhaps have different benefits. Perhaps when he switches to a different type of mana, his body shifts to a different mode? And then this mode would be a resetting of his stats/gains- this would provide a way for the story to not only escalate infinitely.

Grevis165

Not sure if someone mentioned it already, but the "They are Inevitable" line about the old ones.... someone saw endgame :D :D. I'm stomed for his new abilities. Frikin 99.02% damage cap, with more possibilities to increase this. You know how to get at the heart of us min-maxers, Monsoon :)

Mason Sudul

I'm currently rereading the whole series. Started after the chapter before this one was released and am now at chap 148. Goddamn I cant get enough of the series, and am really looking forward to his journey to the emperor and this new place and society. HYYYYYYYYYPE!!!

Nigel Franklin

I caught that too, I assumed it was supposed to be "allies to enemies"

In the oppression part, why did it say be mindful of turning enemies into allies?

Monsoon117

In all honesty, this is entirely possible.

Monsoon117

This sense of progression was actually one of the goals I outlined this chapter, so having you point this out is awesome. Goal accomplished.

Monsoon117

I'll be revamping the visual descriptions this chapter. I meant the armor itself was somewhat grayer. I need a stronger 'vision' for how it appears though. I'll add that to the next chapter's description.

Connor Alexander

If Daniel is a multiverse comprised completely of a mana/essence that is predatory towards eldritch mana couldn’t he, theoretically, become a being that could completely contend the reality/unreality of the eldritch as a whole at one point? Since if he can get strong enough to compete with the truly terrifying beings of the eldritch plane and completely subsume his own mana’s will he could walk into their realm and consume it from the inside out.

Alex R

Does Endless Siphon double up for people with Arcane Blood since their mana/health are the same?

Peacock

Loved the chapter! One question/inconsistency: Daniel already had gray skin before that evo...

Omega

Were you going to fix these errors or...?

bracabrad

"I AM the Multiverse."

Bobby B.

Wow, love the growth from "please don't melt my soul mr. Old One!" To "how do you like it?!?"

Gavriel

Nah, no way, no how, the problem is that he is fighting against the definition of overpowered, as such he can't be overpowered when he is outclassed by his enemies...

Monsoon117

I know. Same with a singularity, though even more exaggerated. I'm taking some artistic liberty here. As he becomes heavier, it will grow into the definition if that makes sense.

Asurathe13th

Currently, Daniel is Seriously the most powerful main character (imo) in the entire genre. And the story isn't even over yet.

Gregory collins

Love the chapter! My only grip is the discription of is density to that of a neuteon star. His mass wieght would be in the trillions of tons not millions. For example a teaspoon of neutron star matter is about 10 million tons.

Monsoon117

Thanks for the reminder and he will.

Bert Peeters

It was good, now onto the next one : D

Ashyles

He was lucky, the other situations he mentioned were forced, Yawm lost his parents only for starting his research

Ashyles

It was also said that Yawm was just a little over level 5000, and Torix and Kessiah were superhuman, our point of view changes as daniel gain strength

Corwin Amber

thanks for the chapter

Sam4005

But i think we need a reminder of all type of mana and what they are/do sometimes

Sam4005

I reallu liked it

I'm kinda actually torn on the Old One's b/c in truth both have only ever helped Daniel. At the same time both his examples arguably had a bad end b/c of their own actions or mentality. I would definitely agree that OO can have major adverse effects as they don't think like normal sentients and don't care for our opinions or wellbeing. At the same time Daniel could just ask for more knowledge of the cypher, gifts from OO's that enabled getting where he is today. In my mind, OO's aren't insane they're just so alien that we wouldn't think of them as rational.

Kemizle

Don’t forget Daniel’s messages are bugged he should get that taken cared of in the next chapter

BrauBaer

Hype. Thanks for the chapter.

Some BS Deity

Hype. Poor helios can't even make a joke

Monsoon117

The eldritch definitely couldn't invade Daniel. Think of it like this, our universe is a hollow void for the most part. It's 99.99999999999999% nothing. Daniel is a dimension that stands at the polar opposite end of the scale, his body condensed down to a ridiculous density. He's too stable to invade, and the enemy would have to be harder and denser than Daniel to be able to move.

Hype! Looking forward to the meeting with the emperor!

Herald

The multiverse angle seems a little convoluted to me, I understood being a Living dimension of his own, lots of sci-fi/fantasy story's use them. (bags of holding from d&d for example) But a multiverse is a collection of universes with their own time lines and existences and set of rules, this would make Daniel not a living piece of metal but "space" or the very fabric of reality T.O.G. would call it "Shinsoo/Shinsu". Since his armor as well as mana has displayed a form of sentience those universes can now be put to use by them and Daniel wouldn't even know what's going on or be able to stop his armor from acting in them the way he can win over control of his body, a new old one could be born from within himself and unleashed, I don't think Schema would tolerate that risk, I was following just fine when the plan was to shove the old ones into Daniel/Living Pocket Dimension and have him gate-keep them in there forever while also using his basically perpetual motion engine to generate mana/resources for schema's use throughout the universe. But now he is multiple universes of his own, so the eldritch could start to invade him like they are the current universe... I could be overthinking things for something that could be just a name and he is still just a dimension not a multiverse. P.S. Love the story, great chapter looking forward to what comes next. P.P.S. If Daniel no longer needs to breath, does he eat? and does he have a pulse I don't think he needs his blood to flow anymore assuming he has any.

pukeofhurl

a move of last resort since hes basically creating black holes why not create a supernova that detonates him doing 100% damage in a single instant that he can survive once per battle and the overkill can even be used as a second shockwave lol

Kevin Ramos

BOW BEFORE THE METAL GOD! God I hope he dowent become an eldritch abomination at the end of this all.

Alex R

I didnt think about this last chapter but I thought the Sentinels were said to be robots in one of the earlier chapters, the one where we meet the Overseer for the first time.

Alex R

The armor reduced the cost of cipher modifications to him. Since it's easier for Schema to augment him, it makes sense the it would allow him to raise the level cap.

Jonathan

Interesting. It remains to be seen how much it accomplishes and how -- the armor upgrade, that is. However, I find it inconsistent that it would raise his level cap. His armor is something apart from the system, after all. Unless Baldag-Ruhl incorporated system-hacking techniques or his armor somehow stole the ability from Amara, it shouldn't happen IMO.

Monsoon117

This is a fantastic idea I didn't think about. It would be like Daniel having a damn eldritch battery for all eternity, adding to his mana regen. What an inventive solution Joshua.

Monsoon117

Yeh, this was mentioned earlier. I'll change that.

Omega

Thanks for the chap, more than lived up to the hype Exponentially scaling to soul forging costs are halved. It was measured in millions by the minute anymore Now you want to have your way with me."" Yeah, but I could give two fucks about that.

Hunger sated for now. This was an awesome chapter! Everybody loves an upgrade :)

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter. Looking sweet so far. Wonder if those Sentinel Staffs could even hurt Daniel now that he is his own multiverse. Also didn't Schema give Daniel the answer to this problem ages ago when he said he wanted to use Daniel as a prison? Just throw Lehesion's ass in one of his universes and shut the door.

Sebas Tian

You know, I kinda want him to implode himself by basically detonating all his Mana. His tree should make him survive but it would just be fucking awesome xD.

Mason Sudul

I loved the chapter and Daniel's new capabilities. My only gripe is the fact that the only noticed change was a decrease in height after he literally became a multiverse. though it might've been just for a joke, which was pretty funny btw, but I look forward to his next trials and how he approaches them with his new self and quintessential manna

Monsoon117

I thought about that, and I think I'll add to that. I knew I was missing something, so thanks for pointing it out.

Voidwalker1992

I thoroughly enjoyed it though I felt that they may of noticed something other than his height change. A change in presence, more solid or ethereal maybe?

Monsoon117

Let me know what you guys think. This chapter in general wasn't easy to write it, though it was very exciting and fun to write despite the challenge involved.
