'many troops sprawled out wet' <- broken/awkward sentence

alexander julian

I imagine it would take unreal progress for Daniel alone to clear eldritch faster than they spread throughout the galaxy

Code Reed

Man, I've read this chapter like 4 times. It really drives home his progress. I know a sentinel doesn't compare to Leh.. Lah.. Uh dragon God guy, but it's a different kind of strength. He's not alone anymore. It's rather cool to see him use all the different methods for fighting. Start tradition for his own race of loyal sentinel solders. Then make an epic monument to remember the battle, WHILE the battle is still happening. Then just toss out buildings like cheap candy to whip together a sudo city in little more than hours. He's not just a weapon, he has means, methods, talent, determination, and intelligence.

Bobby B.

Amazing chapter, but the thing I LOVED? I loved how his people came to back him up! Wow, brings to bare just how strong they're getting

Killer Pickle

I think its more Sentinels are packaged soldiers while Overseer's are soldiers that have risen to ranks such as generals

Code Reed

I think any golem's made by golem's would be sub-par compared to one made by him. He got to many skills, too much mana, and to much specialized knowledge such as the cipher to really delegate that job. I do suspect he can offload certain parts. I believe he'll have to be the one to bring them to life and carve the cipher for them to really be his. Though, making lesser versions could be useful. Each golem could be supported by groups of smaller, support type golem's under their command. I would be interested to see him create specialized golem's for building, defence, stelth(to assist Althea), recon, and possibly one to act as a portal anchor once he starts tearing into that problem. He is eternal. So he could, if given enough time, claim, clear, and hold every planet overrun with eldrich. If Schema gives him enough time, Daniel could stop the eldrich' advance flat.

I wonder how many hybrids are on Blegara. It seems like Elysium has a ridiculously large number of them. Daniel should figure out how to make golems that can make other golems. Then he could have as many golems as Elysium has hybrids.

Monsoon117

There's actually quite a few specific directions I have for this. Several of them will seem obvious once obtained, but that won't make them any less, well, broken for a lack of a better word.

David

I don't think that an Overseer is better in combat than a Sentinel. The Sentinels are trained in combat, have top quality armor, and have a dimensional slicer. The Overseers are administrators. They are higher level, but they seem to lack the specialized combat abilities of the Sentinels. While Overseers no doubt have the power to defeat most enemies, I suspect they are no better in combat than Sentinels.

FlawlessMovement

Hybrid breakers could be pretty dangerous honestly especially in groups

Zachary Smith

I’ve been having a great time reading the story thanks 😁

Brock Hall

I'm kinda wondering where he goes from here as far as powerups. He's already using black holes like freaking ninja stars. This is already just about at the level of pinnacle wuxia MCs. The next step, near as I can tell is "esoterics" attacks or powers which have no physical equivalent and are more along the lines of an idea than anything else.

Monsoon117

That might be more understandable. Good suggestion.

But even if the Sentinel died, the psionic controller lived with in it -> controller within it lived

Rielgesh

Hybridized Overseer? Or some other militant class from Schema? Maybe one of Daniel's allies will get Hybridized?

Jonathan

Nice little cliff. I want to see his gains, lol. On another note, the hybridized Sentinel is/was their current version of their 'next-biggest gun'. I wonder if they have something between that and Lehesion himself, or if they are going to take a try a beating down Daniel before he becomes even more of a monster, they'll have to bring in 'The Living God' next. In that (and this) battle, I wonder if Daniel could use his armor and Event Horizon to free his opponent from the mental/hybrid control and contamination. I can't imagine Lehesion would be terribly happy with the the people who enslaved him...

Matthew T

Love the chapter, but ugh the cliffhanger!!!

Titaniumtac

Putting singularities in stasis, sick. Quite the clever usage. Wished he could save the sentinel, RIP. What are the Eltari up to?

Blake Richardson

Thanks for the chapter

Code Reed

I tend to agree. Far to often I see MCs handycapped by being idiots, not fully utilizing they're full potential, or straight up taking there powers away because he got to strong to fit it the framework of the story. That's one of the reasons I love this so much. Steady, believable, escalation. I have little doubt he'll fight an Old One one day. That belief allows you to do practically anything short of that. If the MC is too strong for the framework, make the framework bigger, don't make the MC smaller.

I require more, preferably injected directly into my veins!

EvilGodAsura

Amazing stuff the imagery is astounding!

This was a fun chapter to write out. I love fight scenes, and I also enjoy working with Daniel's many powers. It gives me a lot of leeway for how he approaches a lot of the battles. That translates to a dynamism I prefer working with. That happened to be one of my biggest pet peeves about some creative works I've read in the past. Author's purposefully limited a character's powers as extending them can prove difficult. When pulled off, it grants an epic sense of scale and a lot more opporunities to express creativity, however.
