The difference is marginal for the most part. Especially considering his wealth of excess attribute points. Skills will make a far bigger difference now.

Xepen

Wasn’t it brought up like 20 chapters ago or something that it’s be woefully more efficient to start at the bottom of the tree at charisma and then go up from there, to properly min/max his time, especially now when there doesn’t seem to bog any big threats and he CAN plan long term for this?

Scott Rutherford

Does this ease of creating new skills mean our hero will accelerate his movement towards a new class creation?

TheHoblit

White fur brimmed from neck and face, his black mask absorbed light him. typo here.

Alex R

If the average person has 1000 hp/min, then it would take about 10k people to equal Daniel's regen.

I wonder how crazy Daniel's regen is compared to the average city-dweller. Will the blue core's mana drain noticeably increase when he walks in, or is it gonna be drowned out by the sheer quantity of other citizens?

Pixelblade

Hmmm that'd explain stuff

Alex R

I'm thinking it is going to be Sunday. Thanksgiving will be over at that point.

R. D. Schubert

Today!! Today, my friend :)

Steven Vollmert

Maybe we get the novel reöease soon. I'm holding myself back from rereading atm. And he said middle of the month. So I guess he is making the last preparations :)

TODAY

R. D. Schubert

Ahh .... the sadness

K

tomorrow...?

Tatsu

Nope I am betting against that! Prove me wrong if you dare Monsoon!

K

TONIGHT IT'S GONNA BE TONIGHT FOR REAL

R. D. Schubert

Will it be tonight? Nobody knows....

K

IT'LL BE TONIGHT

So I go with AI simply because the conotation behind it is understood by most people. This prevents unnecessary exposition(explaining terminology instead of say, world building or character moments, etc.) I do this a lot of the time. Sentient is another good example. Technically, sapient is a better term for describing what Schema is classifying as a system goer. At the same time, being that precise with language can often cause confusion since people understand sentient differently then it's definition. This is how I think about my use of diction a lot of the time. It's like a scale of necessary evils to make the story more fluid and easier to read. Otherwise it's just a slog.

Sebas Tian

hey man just wondering if your going to be releasing a chapter today or tomorrow. you left it on a cliff and I am really anticipating Daniels reaction!

Alex R

The correct term is AI. ASI is a subset of AI just like a square is a rectangle. Schema is an Artificial Intelligence, it is intelligent and it was built/created.

Pretentious Slime

U still alive? Just checking.

Jacob Santos

Technically, the correct term is not AI. It works because the correct term is still undecided. ASI more like it.

Pixelblade

Just noticed that in the synopsis on RR you start off with: "An artificial AI..." but isn't every AI artificial. You also wrote Monster's dwell in men instead of Monsters. Just small things but I thought I'd mention them.

R. D. Schubert

Ey

R. D. Schubert

Amazing. Keep up the good work :)

Monsoon117

Yes.

Monsoon117

There's limits to size. Large cities would require mutliple blue cores.

Connor Alexander

Thanks for the chapter! Looks to be some interesting power ceiling developments we have going on here - glad someone named The Emperor and owning a large chunk of the galaxy should be rightfully terrifying.

Monsoon117

Thanks and fixed.

Monsoon117

Thanks and fixed.

Monsoon117

A chunk, but not too much. He's not converting the energy well, and he's taking a lot of it as just damage.

I'm so addicted to this story..... I just can't get enough! Thank you for all the hard work you have put into this story! I've been reading web novels for awhile but I have never been more excited for this story to continue. Once again thank you for what you do!

Alex R

Also does the mana drain effect people with arcane blood?

Alex R

Are cities limited by size? Could you have a city-planet like Star War's Coruscant?

Maritropa

Yeah, I was under the impression that Schema immediately strikes with the ban-hammer on anyone with mere knowledge of the Cipher's runes, apparently with the exception of select few like the furry-Emperor and our biqboi Daniel.

BlissForgotten

Always drain. Never forget the roots of what made you into a planet nuking deity. Dedicate your life to it.

Maritropa

Oh shit, at this point Daniel's a dynakinetic, isn't he? Might as well burn/implode fodder inside-out, no need for the agony-aura 😂

.TheFear

Thanks for the chapter.

FSK

First of all, thanks for the chapter. Just a couple of questions that came to mind as I was reading: 1) didn't Daniel say he would stop using skill points on his legendary skills a few chapters ago, after he completed the legendary tree and it made it easier to level up said skills? 2)I may be mistaken, since it was quite a lot of chapters ago, but I remember Daniel trying to hide his runes from Torix in fear that he would understand them and be banned from Schema, how come he doesn't have any problem with people watching as he carves and creates them now?

Corwin Amber

thanks for the chapter

Corwin Amber

'our part dashed' -> should be party

PloofDoodle

It was marvelous.

Ashrothe

"Most treat the well-worn paths". Think you mean 'tread'. Thanks for the chapter!!

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Frederic Vincent

Lol! He's kind of rude isn't he...

Tatsu

So after reading the storm bit and the two new skill I got a question. How much mana did he get from absorbing several lightning strikes worth of electricity?

Laevus Deus

In looking forward to the next chapter basically saying, "and with a slight thumping noise shortly followed by a wall of white fur hurling through the front door, the conversation was over."

Eofad

He just learned to turn electricity from lightning into mana. If he could reverse the process he could start throwing lightning bolts at his opponents.

Dominic French

That dark magic sounds interesting, hopefully Daniel starts learning some more Magic. All that mana and his skill in 2 of the three branches of magic and he only mainly uses gravitational, telekenetic, and rune magic. With his skill potential so high some new combat magic would come in handy.

Aidan MacFetridge

Can't wait for some more good old-fashioned beatdowns.

Monsoon117

They haven't been to city states or developed worlds. No guild is going to waste a blue core on some tiny town or on a city they don't fully control like Yildraza. I hope that makes sense.

Monsoon117

Trust me, Helios isn't being arrogant here. He has a reason behind his vast confidence.

Zeal Iskander

'"Rather underwhelming, isn't he?" I mean... yeah, you're faced with someone you can't appraise due to his PER + LVL being vastly over what you can manage. I'm sure your first reaction is insulting him. ... why is every new character we meet... well, idiots? They likely have high level, high INT and high WIS.

KRIEGSMAN

Someone else for Daniel to punch in the face. Nice.

Zeal Iskander

> 1st - The core creates a sphere of protective energy fueled by the occupants inside a city. By draining 5% of total mana produced from each occupant How come we've never seen this effect before?

Monsoon117

Long chapter guys. It had a lot of info in it though, and it set the stage for the next series of events. I hope you all enjoy it.
