I’m just a bit confused on the fact that torix unleashes an area effect on the entire mountain system to weaken the gigalthons. After bragging that the place he learned it from was on a desert world used against creatures strong against such attacks using the systems benefits. Then immediately states that if we find any of the slaves(weaklings that are made out to be so pathetic that blowing on them could kill them) to save them. It’s kinda like he’s starting a forest fire then saying we will put it out with a water hose attached to my house 30 miles away.

Loipers

Hod was right about dry man. Hod knew this day would come. Dry man scary.

s476

thanks for the chapters! looking forward to more. Wondering if Lehesion is aware of daniel killing the ascended immediately?

Some BS Deity

Torix scary, Daniel terrifying

Monsoon117

That is an error and fixed.

Grevis165

It comes out as a clickable link when you typed it. Not sure if that was ibtentional or not

Monsoon117

I'll go back and set the scene better. It's a spacious laboratory with many tunnels leading to the outside. all the tunnels connect into an area large enough for Gialgathens to move with comfort, so it's a pretty massive cavern in the mountain.

Monsoon117

My bad and fixed.

Monsoon117

What do you mean by link for Mt.Ash?

Monsoon117

I should have made the sense of scale better. They are about 25 feet tall, 12-15 feet tall for their main body and the rest their neck. Their about the size of a dinosaur give or take, like a small t-rex.

Peacock

Thanks for the chapter, it's good to see Torix live up to his potential. Also, desert is a dry place, dessert is something tasty.

Grevis165

Thanks for the chapter! Daniel is so BA. The link for Mt. Ash did not work for me :(

Dionisio Trigo

For some reason, I am somewhat confused as to the scale/size/form of a gigalthen. Are they supposed to be western dragons, or are they supposed to be humanoid in form? If they are meant to be western dragons, is it sensible for them to wear robes? Isn’t magic innate for gigalthens, so is it sensible for them to have a classification/distinction as mages? I can understand a specialization of magics, but beyond that its confusing. I feel like I have missed some critical details somewhere...

Hana Buechel

Is it a cave or a cave in floor that e jumped into?

The 49th Khan

"On the (dessert) world where I gathered the rations you eat", I think that should be (desert). Unless it WAS a dessert planet, Torix did say he got the rations there. Sounds tasty.

Corwin Amber

thanks for the chapter

'onto the caved below' i think you meant caved to be cave

Gardor

I don't think the system needs an item or creature to have been previously identified to show you info. Like Daniel himself is a new life form and it does his stuff just fine. Else why would he have gotten the info on just the one.

Gardor

Plus they're illusion mages I bet they're big on perception

It could be Schema simply doesn't have any information to share. Considering their strength odds are no one has been able to identify them before so they are complete unknowns since no info exists within the system. Daniel is far from a low level but his perception is fairly low compared to someone who would have specialized in it and reached a similar level.

Gardor

That's a good point but I don't think status hiding is a purposeful action, more you can't see the status of anything with a higher perception than you. And even if they don't benefit from Schema, gilgathens show levels so the Schemars can quantify the danger. If naturally, without system benefits, the dragons are all level 10,000+ they probably have equivalent stats. Although I always thought it was weird Schema could measure them without being involved in their lives. I think gilgathens rejected the system, rather than being classified as monsters

Atlas Dwarf

Thanks for the chapter. Wait Schema allows "monsters" to hide their descriptions (despite them not being able to view Schema descriptions and aren't a part of Schema's system)? I wonder how they got such high perception though, considering it's not from Schema and Daniel would have probably noticed the Cipher on them.

Gardor

Or, "Right now, there is no difference."

Gardor

There is a difference between plans and executions. Maybe have Torix say "An execution WAS the plan." and have Daniel reply "Yeah, I guess so."

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Gabriel

Thanks. It's enjoyable as usual.

You just need to invest in the leveling perked for con and end

Monsoon117

So I'm starting back up with the system I implemented towards the end of October and into November. That was when I released like 20 chapters in a row, every day. The issue came in longevity; I burned out and too a crisp. I'll be implementing a few failsafes to prevent said burnout again. As the days pass, I'll be ramping back up to a blistering pace of uploads. Whether the new failsafes actually work in practice, well, only time can tell. If they do work though, I'll quadruple my releases from last year.
