Wrath

Learning about all the important parts of his backstory and the family conflict. It always made me wonder where his mother's parents were. Whatever happened to his father. Those are questions that I had at the beginning but forgot about 'cause I just assumed they all died.

If that sack of shit is still alive, Daniel should really show why he is the Harbinger of Cataclysm. At leas in my opinion.

This is definitely something I like, Daniel has needed to clear parts of himself for a long time now. Resolving this conflict of hatred should bring him into the more spiritual side of magic, rather than the science and technical based parts of it. Really, his inner world needs more spiritualism than what he has right now. He must become the ultimate cultivator.

Oh hell yeah, finally getting to the family conflict. I'm looking forward to gramps meeting althea at some point. I like him.

I like incorporating this side of things and I think that this will lead to some significant personal development for Daniel. One thing to consider is that almost all of Daniel's advancements have been 'hard science/magic' based. Skills, weight, power, etc. At his power level emotions, mentality, and mental state all have very real effects on his powers, perception, and by extension reality. Unburdening himself of the mental baggage that he's been carrying around could be a major catalyst for a perspective shift or practical evolution for Daniel's multiple minds and constant suffering. This is important when dealing with cognitohazards, old ones, and mental attacks alike.

This is a chapter where I tried to seriously tackle Daniel's past, his family dynamics, and a bit about the history behind his family. It's definitely outside of my wheelhouse(Lit-RPG stuff and fight scenes), but it's an attempt to add dimension to the story via character conflicts. Imo, I'm actually really glad I got some time to think about the chapter. Revisiting it really allowed me to sink my teeth in. It's actually quite nice to have a bit pad of them to consider before posting. I'll definitely be implementing this type of posting moving forward.
