Melancholyforus

Yeah but it’s also not a regular book it’s full of cipher in three dimensions so it’s sorta a super book that a regular person would have a seizure trying to read

Melancholyforus

Yeah that could work nukes are the way they are to get the ability to split the atom (the forces holding protons and nuetrons are so potent when released they cause nukes so if you had the ability to split atoms it would cause a nuke) besides singularities are a far better option apparently or maybe pull the atoms apart with gravity? Something like that

Zivlanir

Does his high perception stat not allow him to read an entire book at a glance? I believe that was mentioned previously when it was stated why Torix didn't have a perception focused build

NarielV

Il check on that when I get home for ya

NarielV

Me too I love the author for it too makes archiving shit a hell a lot easier cant wait for Rain level up and the insanity that will be.

NarielV

All you would need to do is on any office software save as then make it a pdf in the selection and it should be good.

Lockwood

Or time dilation? Though it would have to be Daniel doing the dilation.

Monsoon117

I have no idea how to work in the pdf format. Any idea what that would require or what I'd have to do specifically? Maybe a tutorial to point out?

Monsoon117

Aren't we all just goblin rapscallions really? Daniel could technically acheive that level of precision, but it would require immense perception and practice.

Alex I

He is actually the most shackled, by his pride and his will. He wants to be useful to the emperor cause he is a larger than life hero to Helios. His pride also won't let him reverse course on his word.

Matthew T

I follow another author (SenescentSoul, he writes Delve) and he posts the pdfs every update

NarielV

Nevermind found a workaround janky as hell though

Lockwood

How precise is the dimensional storage? Can Daniel pop out a single atom or like pop out half an atom and spit it by closing the portal half way? If so, possible nuke? (FYI I don't know how nukes really work. I am just a dumb book goblin)

Lockwood

Holy shit. Daniel "Rod from god" Hillside.

NarielV

I mean to download the file like clipping a file to the post. another author I am subbed does it here on patreon regardless no big deal I don't mind.

EvilGodAsura

If Daniel can speed himself up enough he could just fire himself through a planet like a rail gun no?

Monsoon117

Patreon doesn't allow the posting of PDF's directly. I'd have to post it to my own website then link that work to patreon. That wouldn't be the end of the world or anything, but it does make my posting process longer than it already is(Requires posting onto multiple websites, tiering updates, tag updates, my comment for transparency, etc.)

NarielV

Hey monsoon would be possible for you to post the newest update in PDF format so that it only needs to be downloaded I use a tts software to read your work and I need to copy paste everything to a file to be able to read anything since Patreon doesn't play nice with tts just a suggestion I will keep doing what I am doing but it would make my life a hell a lot easier at work since I won't have to wait to enjoy your fic while at work.

Monsoon117

Interesting. On the one hand, popular nomanculture has it as a surgical tool with rather promiscuous uses. On the other hand, the dictionary primarily defines it as a mirror. Conotation trumps definitions, so I'm changing it.

Nopkar

A+ Chapter! I love the slowdowns where Daniel takes stock and realizes he's not really 'normal' anymore, or as normal as he might feel sometimes. A wave of his hand is more destructive than anything ever imagined on earth and that probably weighs on him, his mental stats notwithstanding. and speaking of those I'm surprised he hasn't stepped back and taken stock of that point as yet. he's basically been pumped full by schema with stats and power but he's a *Dimension*, I.E the vast cosmic power schema wields is multitudes within Daniel. unless of course i'm wrong on that bit :P

Monsoon117

9k isn't that high, relatively speaking for albony royalty. The Emperor's over level 24K by comparison. Helios is 15K.

Herald

It's an interesting idea. My theory on that is the part of his mind would only be able to view the book in the state it was put into stasis and unable to turn the pages. It would have to have some way of taking it out of stasis to properly read the book.

Titaniumtac

I think he will be able to do that, after he learns primordial mana and make time more the way he wants, rather than just stasis.

Regnal

I like the part about his contemplating the armor he has and how much it has helped him, even more so than Schema in certain regards. It fit well to mention it here as a thought after the argument with spear. I mentioned in the previous chapter that he could have brought it up in the argument with spear but it is probably best that he doesn't completely reveal his origins like that. Overall a great addition the chapter, and its nice to hear some of his inner thoughts about such matters. The other thing I was wondering is if he is able to interact with anything in his storage. It seemed to me that things in there were held in stasis but he could still view or interact with them like how he viewed that explosion from the grimoire creation and was able to selectively pull the grimoire out. I had thought he could simply store the books he wanted to read and then portion off of a consciousness to view them in his storage while he multitasks everything else. That to me would be much more convenient and practical. On another note, if he can interact with his storage, he could then manufacture his golems within himself and always multitask in that way. Between that, studying his new texts, and fueling his ciphers with the furnace to improve his stats, he could always be improving even if he seems to not be doing anything on the outside. It just seems like a cool possibility with his manifold minds that he could be working on things in the dimension within himself and always being productive while doing whatever other responsibilities he has like this feast and such.

EvilGodAsura

This chapter really does give some wonder to the idea if Daniel can find a way to control pieces of himself that have split off. Not only would it give a huge measure of control over his creations but it would make sense since they are still parts of his universe even if not connected on that plane.

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Creed

Has Florence always been a Speaker? Or that high leveled? I always thought he was more runty and weak as far as levels go from the way his family treats him but maybe his status was revealed and I missed it or something

Ash

It's good to hear the love for world building is still strong, keep it up bro, the writing is impeccable as always

Titaniumtac

Helios needs some massive recognition here. Motives/ethics aside, his unrivaled combat support has been overlooked. Both from Obolis and Daniel should reward him, making him further useful and maintain loyalty. He is the LEAST shackled character in the entire universe (almost{portaling not needing schemas warp pads}) and risks his life anyway!!!

Scott Rutherford

Look, the MCP.. I mean, Schema... sends over a personalized A.I. to guide Daniel. :D (Insert the 'bit' from Tron) lol "Yes" "No!" lol

Scott Rutherford

Interesting use of his armor to read... I half expected him to make floating gravitational sensor drones that could manipulate drones and pass sensory data back to him (multiple views per manifold mind splinter connected to it). He has combat golems and builder golems. These would be Stealth Recon golems that could potentially travel with Hod or more likely Althea. Light on attack and heavy on perception. Imagine if they were tiny (as in, golf ball sized or basketball sized) and with either only enough mind to search and record... or less than that, to be solely a connection point for Daniel to see through. Maybe give them a pocket dimension and they can be little thieves also. If he adds dimensional slicer a abilities to them later on they could be great saboteurs. Slice and dice something sensitive and store it away.

Scott Rutherford

I don't think 'speculum' is the right word.. at least, a google search makes it seem like not the right word. Great chapter though :)

Kemizle

I hope Daniel has a way to get Elysium off earth and without braking there deal and doesn’t involve a new one

Shin

No Elysium is only on earth because it is the closest habitated planet to giess she has no idea that it is daniels homeworld since he doesnt look quite human anymore...

Blake Richardson

Thanks for the chapter

Kurt A

Just wondering, doesn't Tothella know where daniel's home planet is?

EvilGodAsura

Giant metal bobble head leaking ominous red smoke? I'm in

David Urvig

I think he might have, but then you have to remember how these "books" are described. Each page is like a three dimensional manipulative space with the quantity of information packed into it. He would have to "read" each page numerous times before he's done with it.

Lockwood

That's definitely possible lol just a thought

EvilGodAsura

Shame. That would be a huge advantage in catching up for him in knowledge.

Monsoon117

Huh, I dont' know. I think that might be more even more menacing.

Tomisgoofy

Excellent, may the study marathon begin!

Monsoon117

These books aren't really readable. More so viewable. I'd have to double check for that perk though. If anyone finds the chapter number where it is, that would be helpful.

Lockwood

Great chapter! The "Study Helmet" is great too. Though couldn't Daniel morph his armor into looking like a dark gray suit with a mask or half mask depending on how big his face is in comparison to the book or something instead of his normal armor? Being able to see his lips move and then making the eyeholes of the mask glow would look better and be more personal when speaking imo.

EvilGodAsura

I forgot. Did Daniel not get the perk that allowed him to read books at a touch? That could speed up his learning by a large amount if he could just store the books in his head and have a sub mind constantly learning.

Lockwood

Goodby ---> Goodbye

Monsoon117

A much longer chapter than the last because I added some stuff as I wrote. It's always fun to do that, as if I'm learning and exploring the universe as I go. I stick with a general plan and arc for my stories of course, but I gotta appreciate those fun, wondrous moments where the story veers off plan into unseen territory. Either way, I'm going to do one last edit for chapter 303 for the clunkiness in it. I didn't want to burn myself out editing too much, so I took a step away. Refreshed and ready, I'll finish that and start working on the next chapter...Assuming I won't have to work a ton on this one. Enjoy guys.
