Not really sure why he must lose his "human" side to move through time. It also feels like is humanity is important.

ClementCrown

Holy shit, dude vivid fucking description, I could almost imagine the feeling of just having your mind comically fucked and Mashed into some kind of mind blob, (sounds like an intense ego death) I reading this gave me fucking goose bumps I FUCKING LOVE IT

Jean Banninga

That's fair my dude, gotta stay healthy and in a good state of mind to continue writing these absolutely fire chapters 🙏

Monsoon117

I'm not making another posting schedule. I can't handle that kind of pressure on my creative process. It becomes all consuming, leaving no breathing room to be imaginitive in the first place. I've found that having no expectations lets me produce more, and by trying to force certain deadlines, I crumble under my own promises.

Blake Richardson

Thanks for the chapter

Marius Giurgila

Hmm, your mind must have been in shambles( depresion, managing high expectations...) in order to be able to describe what Daniel went through. Glad you're back.

Jean Banninga

Hey Monsoon, what's the posting schedule look like? Also I can't wait for Daniel to kick that baldorah avatar dude right in the dick, and the nanocloud dude is awesome I love him

Monsoon117

I think there's no way around the mindfk aspect. I embraced it and tried to focus on the story telling aspect rather than the specifics.

Monsoon117

I totally understand. I knew this would simply not be for everyone regardless of how I executed on the concepts. The long hiatus before this definitely doesn't help with making everything comprehensible since you guys aren't caught up on all the concepts tackled here. It would be easier to understand if you'd read this with all the previous chapters still fresh.

FlawlessMovement

So I was actually celebrating it being in one piece in my head the whole way through, also if it didn’t require so much pre reading I’d say this chapter would be entertaining to debate in a class. Imagine the interpretation arguments lol

Steven Vollmert

Finally back to grinding. And Daniel having to really work hard and only making "minimal" progress is a welcome change as well. What a mindfk chapter tho.

Gamertecno

I had a crazy thought, would it be possible to infuse the cypher directly into his dimensional wake? Do to its power over reality he could use it to setup how physics works in his dimension, and allow greater ease of time manipulation. Granted he might have to literally take the many separate egos he can make and turn them into the cypher. Which could be a whole new level of pain and mind fuckery!

Gamertecno

An amazing chapter! I think the feel based description was the right choice here and it let my mind run wild with ideas.

Sanairb

If he can instantly reform his body from the wake, couldn't he (with some mental gymnastics) picture himself in the body of a golem and instantly form one of them? Then he'd only have to install cores and set up the minds.

Sanairb

See I feel the opposite. Chapter after chapter we've seen him overcome physical difficulties. This chapter really dug in to what exactly tearing his mind apart looked like. The mind is much harder to describe than the body. I think it was nice change of pace from the usual.

Damika

This was so crazy and amazing to read

Yanni

I’m trying to put my thoughts into words without it sounding negative but here goes. This chapter was physically painful to read, like a continuous drawl that just wasn’t computing what each word after the next meant. I constantly found my mind wandering, I don’t know if it’s because it’s early in the morning or because it just sounds overly complicated when it could of been so much simpler. (I only read the first few paragraphs before I just couldn’t continue).

Connor Alexander

Awesome chapter, even reading this before the note at the end I can see why it took so long. Daniel is now diving deep into a point of reference that is hard for us to understand and it is awesome in its complexity.

kyle

Yeah that was a lot to get us through, and I think you did well. Thanks for doing it one chapter...can't wait to see how it all plays out 😊

Jon Lomax

thanks for the chapter. another good one, all your hard work paid off

Reyhulko

Quote!

Turora

Well done, you established how the power is going to work and what we might expect down the road. The process itself was a bit mind-bending, but nonetheless mostly communicated a incredibly challenging topic we have absolutely no basis for understanding. It may not be immaculate, but you can’t really cover this topic in a crisp clean fashion. Good job!

Xepen

Great chapter monsoon. Really felt liked it flowed well. At least to me I defined prefer this more feel based description that a direct one. Especially when it such a crazy and strange topic. Can’t wait for the next one.

Maxime Cusson

It was a mindfuck of a chapter, but what a beautiful mindfuck it was. Thanks for this chapter 😁

Crimsonbecca

thank monsoon fucking amazing as always man

This was probably the hardest chapter to write I've ever done. It's not because I'm feeling off or rusty either as I already prewrote 4-5 chapters before I posted the chapter before this. I actually struggled because this is such a genuinely insane topic to cover. On the one hand, time magic is an esoteric kind of thing to cover. It's really just the rate at which events occur, but it impacts every little thing about someone. Describing how different the world would be was a really demanding aspect of this chapter, and I put a lot of time into thinking out how those changes would take place Second, the multiple minds and points of reference made subject verb agreement a hassle and then some. An editor would look at this chapter and vomit, not from errors but because of how 'unclean' it is. Worse still, it's out of necessity, becase a lot of the time the verb and subject weren't concrete or absolute; it was determined by my call as an author. A grammatically minded person would tear this apart, but then another would tear their interpretation apart. I eventually just did my best and let it go. And finally, I wanted to get the training and transition to be comprehensible. I had to boil, condensate, transpirate, flip, turn, and mull over how I described every little thing in this chapter. At first I tried to describe it directly, but I found that left little to imagine. I went with a more feel based description style. The length of the chapter was also supposed to aid in how easy this chapter was to understand. Splitting this into three chapters for instance would just make it even more difficult to get, subject matter wise. So yeah, I hope it turned out to at least be entertaining.
