if you want to use an outfits, you first need to turn on the desired outfit -> select piece of outfit -> then navigate to modifiers tab (wrench icon) -> enable surface deform modifier -> shape and pose the model according to your liking and then Apply Surface deform modifier. If you will not do that the mesh of the outfit will explode on the final render.

Enable "Bones" in masking properties, I hided them to make renders.
