One Winged Angel

Is there any word on the next chapter author?

Redwing641

Please post soon. I need my weekly fix.

Xodarap4

Oh crap just realized that Styx not upholding prior oaths means the three great gods can have more children again without reprisal Zeus Poseidon Hades can go back on the market. Though Poseidon might want to wait a bit before going after mortals again so his wife doesn't make him a Eunuch

LuciferDFallN1

She said that other than herself only four HAVEN'T broken oaths on her name... So that means the rest of the 100+ had

LuciferDFallN1

And the sword is actually the less painful punishment

Zystroc

I'm almost entirely convinced at this point that every time someone asks, it gets pushed back another month or two

Swiftwolfbeta

Pov You just broke and oath and Ocean Song the god Of Punishing oath breakers appears holding a sword and a water bucket and says choose

loyd

When will we get a kuno Hogwarts chapter

Osiris Sundavr

Sounds like Hades needs to give OS Hestia’s divine digits. First thing they need now is a HOME. Sect building time!

Osiris Sundavr

Of course he loved tanking Zeus’s bolts. He is a cultivator, they are all, bar none, some shade of masochist.

Gabriel Daniels

Time to make a sect

Danielle

The part with Aphrodite was also great cause Ishtar is famously not capable of storming an underworld so she has absolutely no teeth in this fight

Danielle

I feel like he’ll probably pick up one or two disciples like a proper wandering cultivator, but I doubt he’s at his “I want to sit down a consider the Dao for a century or two so I might as well found a sect” point in his internal story. He’s still at the “I’m power leveling myself until I can cut down the heavens!” Point in his timeline imo

Danielle

*cackles* I cannot Wait to see Hades reaction to this story when he hears the whole thing from Styx xD

Petrox

Styx updating the terms and conditions. Should ask for compensation too. Gotta give her champion a salary

Kz3838

Thank you for the great chapter, love how you wrote Styx here and that she was able to strong arm the gods into keeping their oaths going forward or else. Stay safe out there and keep up the good work!

loyd

It is already one go to fanfiction. Net and find the title

Phoenix01

Heh, Styx is standing on Business!

Orchamus

Styx is DONE with this bull😨😅

Fire_Fox2590

I don't really think he *cares* too much about being exposed. He seemed to have a fucking blast tanking lightning bolts the first time, and this time he will probably even survive without aid if he did it again.

Phantom knight who can’t think of a better nicknam

The game of an insane demigod. it’s quite fun

Rake1810

"Mission failed successfully" is one of my favorite lines. More importantly, I love the Styxx thing more then anything else in this story because of how uneven swearing on the Styxx is both in PJO and in Greek myth in general

Belly

Oooo that's a hard one. Does he take them to camp anf potentially rxpose himself again ot does he take them in to make his own secret sect of cultivators, mixing Demigods, mortals, and monsters? That'd be cool for a spun off likr a future story after this one, like 30+ years after this camon ehrn hes strong enough that not a lot of gods can contest Ocean

Joalfl

What was the fic called

David Clyne

Please make this it's own book and not a [Snippet]. It's brilliant

Einar Strandberg

I really love Styx getting pissed off, as well as your depiction of the lotus Eaters. Ever since they showed up in Undertow of Sea and Sand I've loved exploring them. I think you could definitely view them as not the exact same group, but just a different set of mortals finding the same plants and replicating the behavior, but it's more interesting to do more with them. And yeah, the goda swearing on Styx but breaking with no mentioned punishment was strange. You could definitely read it as just the punishment being significant but not visible or mentioned to the mortals, but this is really interesting. I'm a little surprised she's already bringing up her champion to the gods; saying "I have a champion to punish y'all, and it's this guy you just nearly killed" is maybe undercutting her message. Then again, he's already a lot stronger, and she didn't say who it was. And saying she has a champion now to prevent later objections is smart.

CorruptedDragon

i think she said only 4 gods had not broken an oath

Ototsu_Yume

Absolutely loved this chapter, thanks. I feel sorry for Styx if/when modern memes end up making her split into two, one being her current self and the other being 'Karen' if she ends up with the same PJO issues that the other gods have.

Alex Rossi

Other than Aphrodite, Zeus, and Poseidon who is the other God that broke an Oath to Styx?

Phantom knight who can’t think of a better nicknam

I know but I was serious there was a fan fic I like that the Mc did that to receive her legacy

George Wright

lol and strangely kinky

Obi Onwudiwe

Huh. 25 demigods with nowhere to go and likely stuck in the casino for several centuries outside, many of which belong to other pantheons... Is the start of his sect?

Phantom knight who can’t think of a better nicknam

Any thoughts on ocean song asking his father for a few sand dollars to clean/purify Styx’s river/body

1NC1N3R4T0R

Welp, he’s got little juniors to beat u- I’m mean definitely train in the mystic arts

muabe jhonson

We need more updates once a week is torture

Monzter E

Lets gooo, some world changes!

Wrathkal

Actually, it is a pretty good punishment. After all, the Greek gods are known for striking at the children of others, so they can't really complain if she does the same, right? Anyway, I really want to see what happens if he tries to lead them to safety through Hotel Valhalla

AStoryForOne

TBF, the thing with Aphrodite wasn't a follow through threat. It was more to set the tone and to warn everyone else what she would do. If her oaths are upheld, she won't actually have to use that threat against any of them, Aphrodite included.

Juaquin Gonzalez

Jajjaja me encanta su obtimismo ante todo lo que pasa, me pregunto de quienes son los hijos que encontro.

Dericof D

Nice, I like the idea that the Lotus eaters becoming into some kind of plant monster, you are what you eat and eating drugs for so long must have terrible consequences. Nice to see the goddess Styx doing something to reestablish the importance of her oaths, is a shame that Aphrodite's children are paying for her mother's mistakes.

George Wright

Tyche better watch her back, or some random triple eyed cyclops gonna mugg her in a back alley somewhere and steal her shtick

George Wright

Hip hip Hooray and a toast for the new God of Romance, Training, BULSHIT and Change his romantic advice somehow leads to threesomes and face sitting his training somehow leads to apotheosis someway somehow his BULSHIT always carries him through the day everywhere he goes every time he does anything some way somehow he is the universal and chaotic force for change, for the better....probably, he is progress... i guess

AStoryForOne

Give me like 30 minutes and I'll do a run through of it.

Kevin Lee

This needs to be proof read. It was a little painful to read.

LazyBlackberry

YES!! Finally the oaths MEAN something

Sksk4128

Yeah apparently if you break an Oath on the Styx you are giving up the ability to cross her waters when you pass. Not a huge concern for immortal gods not in a war. There's also the fact since everyone swears on her name she gets the glory and faith to prevent her fading

Vortiboy27

FUCKING FINALLY SOMEONE CALLED IT OUT! Like the majority of the time most gods just oath on Styx without proper punishment or punishment comes later. Nope not happening here. Thanks for that. Arachne chapter is also a great one.

Son-Of-Scorn

Massive fan of how this chapter worked out, being the Champion of Oaths is very fitting for a Cultivator style character 10/10
