Addressing Pixiv/Fanbox's New Rules

The TLDR version of it is that from December 16 onwards certain types of content will no longer be allowed on Fanbox. The complete details and regulations will be announced at the end of this month, but as it stands, there is a very good chance that things such as loli/shota, incest, beastiality and gore will no longer be allowed. If this turns out to be the case, what am I planning to do? Well, bear with me for a second, because I only learned the news as I was about to go to bed yesterday evening, so these following sentence are the result of a couple of sleepless hours:
1. The new rules seem only to apply to Fanbox, Booth and Request, not to the Pixiv main site itself, since they have been impose by the credit card companies. So it seems I'll still be able to post freely on Pixiv. But just ibn case, I'd recommend you also follow me on Baraag as a fallback: https://baraag.net/web/@Madoc
2. The exclusive pictures (the 1100 yen tier) will be fine. These already followed the guidelines set down by Patreon, so there everything will continue as it was.
3. Twice Is Nice (the 1600/2200 yen tier) is the problem. I had moved this tier over from Patreon to Fanbox only to have that extra freedom, but it seems that will no longer be the case. Now, I am still planning to continue the tier and produce two exclusives per month, but any loli or shota characters are out if these rules do indeed apply. I'm not going to lie: this will lose me supporters and will be a financial hit. If you decide to end your pledge over this, I completely understand and I don't blame you. Luckily I'm in a relatively good position where the other pictures I produce are just as popular, and people tend to support me over the unusual series and comics I pick to parody. There are a couple of artist I'm friends with where I'm asking "How are they going to survive this, with their content?"
4. If indeed the Twice Is Nice tier on Fanbox will from now on have to obey the same restrictions as on Patreon, well then I see no reason not to open the Twice Is Nice tier on Patreon again as well. At that point both platforms are just the same, and you can chose the one that appeals to you most.
5. It's going to be a strange situation with the Early Birds, since some content will be allowed on Pixiv but can't be posted on Fanbox. So make sure that you provide me with your e-mail address if you want to make sure you have not missed anything.
6. Finally, yes, it seems that I will have to remove a significant amount of pictures from the Fanbox site. Truth be told, I'm not sure how I'm going to handle the archive of older pictures yet, since they were no longer posted on Fanbox, but people could still request them through their e-mail provided they were in the correct tier. It's simply unclear at this time what the rules will have to say about that. I will also have to remove the recent "offending" Twice Is Nice pictures and replace them with older "safe" ones, to make up the 12 you're at least entitled to when you sign on. Again, it'll become more important going forward to provide me with an e-mail if you don't want to miss out.
That's all I can say at this time. The regulations have not been confirmed in full yet, so we are still partially in the dark here. What you've read above are the broad strokes of my backup plan, but practicalities can still change.
If you do decide to stay on, I thank you for your confidence and continued support. If you decide to cancel, I fully understand and I thank you for everything you have done for me. And if you do have any question, please ask them. I'll try to answe them, although there is a lot I don't know myself at this time.

Thank you very much. I think there are creative solutions to this situation, but I'll wait for the final confirmation of the new regulations first before deciding on a course of action.

I'm still looking into it. TBH, it's been less than 24h since I got the news, so I haven't made any definite decision yet.

Many people are pointing towards Fantia and Nijie, but those platforms have very little English support for creators. If you don't know much English, it does feel like stumbling in the dark. But yeah, it's an option. One thing I considered is playing around with picture variations like I'm already doing now. You know: one site with have a variation pic with the offending character where it's allowed, and the others will have the variation without that character.

Man, it never ends, does it. (>_<) It's a pity you can't use Fantia, you know (I've been supporting a few artists on there myself lately).
