SAME. I also understand how much Jamie wants this to work out, but I kind of hate the way he's just pushing forward and ignoring Aiden's clear discomfort. There's often so many internalized feelings of brokenness when you're ace (whether you realize it or not) and I just hate seeing Jamie unwittingly feed into that narrative and make Aiden feel even worse.

Agh I keep wanting to scream at both of these boys to look up asexuality! But I know from experience that it's not that easy. Nobody teaches us about these things. I didn't realize I was ace until I was in my twenties even though I knew I was gay in middle school. This whole conversation has been so accurate to how many queer youth feel while navigating our emotions.
