Surviving The Sixth Extinction: Are we too late?

Since life emerged on our planet, there have been five mass extinctions. Sometimes these events last many years. But sometimes a mass extinction can happen very, very suddenly.
Some scientists think we're on the verge of a sixth mass extinction. Others think it's already begun.
But the question everybody asks is: "Is there anything we can do to stop it?"

I have no idea if any of TWF team will see this but, I just wanted to say THANKYOU for the little nod to Astrology in this episode! I was almost in tears at the way you tackled the subject as there is so much negative connotations associated with putting even the slightest faith into Astrology, that it usually gets sh*t all over. I’ve been studying it for years and I am still only at a beginner level but I truly believe there was (and still is ongoing) a disinformation campaign to discredit absolutely any validity to astrology whatsoever. Every couple of years NASA attempts to tarnish the Astrology community by claiming the ‘star signs have changed’ due to the precession of the Earth. Topical Astrology was aware of this and as such the signs are fixed to the vernal equinox and seasons and not the sky. This is the kind of information that the average person has no clue about though and they just read the articles spit out claiming their ‘star sign’ has now changed but it couldn’t be further from the truth.. I have no idea what NASA or the gov could possibly gain from trying to discredit Astrology like this but I have a suspicion it’s because Astrology itself does indeed tie into this bigger picture of things that go against the current scientific consensus because a little bit of googling will reveal Astrology is deeper than just you ‘star/sun sign’. But thank you again so much for even the slightest little exposure to Astrology because I do wholly believe, once you move past the whole shallow ‘my ex was an *insert sign here* so I’ll never date one again’ absolute ignorant way of using it, that it can be a VERY useful tool for self awareness and growth. To understand your birth chart is to understand your own ‘life’s manual’ so to speak and it can also greatly improve your relationships with those around you when you seek to use it in such a way to understand better our differences to each other as humans. :)

I don't select agree 99% of the time. Infact Patreon put me in turmoil. I use Fdroid for most apps and live a dgoogled life. I watch YouTube through loading it in a browser. I also put my phone in a mission Darkness bag when I travel. It's hard because my wife and daughter don't care, but retired military in many countries and things can go south quick. I want them to have as little as possible. It's non of their fucking business how I live, where I go or what I do. Honestly probably will close my patreon and Discord account soon. I only joined to support the why files, back when he had a few thousand subs. Now he's famous and I don't matter nor does my money. I've done my part. Time to get these apps off my phone. I do t fit in with these folks anyway.

Jesus fucking Christ. The following assumes all the information in this video is correct. From the past videos I have high confidence it is so. It took me no less than three hours to watch this video. It's the most information dense thing I've seen in my life, and I had to stop to google details, rant to my friends about mainstream science, and just realise my brain had been going through related knowledge and rewind a bit. Somehow I had not heard of most of the topics in this video. Honestly, you are one of the most valuable creators out there right now. You must be preserved. If there's anything we can all do to make sure you keep up the research and creating videos, please tell us.

Yes. During the After Files, Jen and AJ noted they lived in the Los Angeles area for a couple decades and know Northridge and the differences in the quakes, but weren't able to correct the statement until after the episode was published.

Dark Matter: An unfounded tethered idea, in my study electromagnetism was everywhere, and obviously dark matter doesn't exist. But our brain is the closest thing we have to compare it to in the universe, at this time anyway. As far as we know of, a wall or skull like features haven't been found yet, so we can't prove we are not in a giant brain yet. Wake me when they get there.

One of my greatest studies, and the answer if we can stop it, NO, we can't, the events are from nature, and nature is not what we believe it to be. If you can't stop the poles from flipping, or stop the Earths crust shifting and causing massive tsunamis across the globe. How do you believe the many layers of tropical growth on Antarctica got there if it really has been down there for millions of years? We know very little, no matter what though no stopping, an underground cavern made for thousands of people and can promote and support life for at least 1000 yrs, while an ice age is happening above.

I like this episode so much and found it so interesting that I watched it twice before making my comment. Super interesting subject, great research done, excellent credit given to the early scientist in this field and AJ shows that credit should have been given when it was due and maybe still should be given if it is due. The other thought I had, is maybe there are scientists who study this stuff, we just aren’t being told about it. For example the Remote Viewing stuff..
