There was a comment posted the day it came out complaining about the skit because it was a "commercial' for his own merchand was threating to cancel his/her patreon. I would pay the patreon to delete and block them from this patreon. I shouldbt care but this channel is my wife and I's favorite channel and make it a mini date night to watch it and the longer the episodes are, the better. I am glad to read that people loved it like we did.

Really interesting do you all think the aliens really would have hurt him or were they trying to help him? I was in a situation that could be similar, having to rescue a bird and another animal (separate occasions), they were terrified and didn’t understand I was trying to help them and tried to fight me. If I could have I would have put them to sleep to decrease their fear if I could have when I got them out of a situation they would have died because they were trapped.

MikeD Just to be clear, I believe that all the modern UAP/UFO events can be explained away by advanced human technology. I also believe that our planet could have been visited by beings from other worlds that might have influenced and advanced hominid and early human development. The Hebrew bible has a story in the Genesis 6 that tells God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children. Just one example of many (such as odd parts) that could lead to the idea that we are not the only intelligent beings in the universe.

Bosco Lemontz I don’t believe Phil Esposito had a son (by marriage) lol but he did have three daughter’s . One of his daughters did marry a Russian hockey player and they might have had a son. Not sure if all his daughters have children either. Of his brother Tony was also married but that will be saved for another The Why Files episode…

Carl, you could be correct, and for the most part I agree with you, but some of the sightings that go back into the '40s and '50s defy explanation even by today's technology. I believe most are black ops military projects, but not all.

I went searching for his comment after hearing it mentioned in the chat. You can't keep everyone happy. Those who responded to Jason did a good job, so nothing I'll add. It is surprising he doesn't understand the difference between an ad for a client and TWF's own content. We all want to see those. I also suspect that 99% of those who subscribe to TWF Patreon channel do it to support the channel, not because it's commercial free.

Then cancel your Patreon. It was included in Patreon video because the overwhelming majority of us love seeing the Hecklefish antics and love seeing the back and forth in the commercials. This one was a 'promo' for their own product. You are probably the only Patreon member who had an issue with it. Here is a novel thought, fast forward the video if you don't care to watch it and move on with life rather than coming in here to talk shit.

I don't mean to speak for them, but some shows are light, like chinese food, leaves you hungry an hour later sort of thing. these kind of shows I watch once but probably never again. But they mix them in between the heavy stuff like Looking Glass, Tepe, crop circles, moon landing shows that are longer, deeper, make the viewer think, motivate them to read further - these shows I might watch 1/2 dozen times. But that is just my opinion

I think the card game part was fabulous; and would have been sad if it hadn’t been included. It is a whyfiles crew production. They should be proud of the work. I would hope they would share a special edition like this with the Patreon family. Just move past it with the slide bar or skip ahead feature. It seems like most patreon members loved this. I certainly did. I see where you are coming from to a point, but this was a sneak peek, not an affront to anyone.

I was in the ama and idk why there was a complaint about the promo for the card game. For the record that doesn’t count as a commercial. Just more content and I ordered the card game! Edit of video was good. It was different but good. Only thought is a couple of the images didn’t match, like the guy in cuffs while being interrogated in the rental house. But still good and graphic quality was high. Can’t wait for the next one!

Cool game I played it 50 years ago. We called it Pickle Herring. My cat loves it's crabby friend. This robot thing thru me off, what would they need robots for, the only reason robots in space is for humans don't need to go. Especially if all the robots can do is spit out carbon-monoxide. The Patreon channel has always been promoted as an advertisement-free alternative to the YouTube channel thanks to the direct sponsorship of viewers. Your enjoyment of the advertisements has nothing to do with the fact he is breaking his promise on what his Patreon channel is meant to provide by inserting advertisements into the beginning of the video. If he were to put them at the end of the episode, it would still be breaking the original function of his channel, but at least it wouldn't be so blatant.
