Because I’ve been through what he has been through and it’s fucking hard to have all of the people you love relying on you to make small miracles happen every week and I can see that burden on his face. I also get the ADHD portion as I also have this and am borderline autistic. I got out of my loop by facing hard truths and changing the way I operated so I could scale myself and my business. The video isn’t done straight up. Has nothing to do with technical difficulties. I love the channel, AJ, and I still listen to old Art Bell shows. Here is the reality. No matter how much addy you crush and coffee you drink, that will not take you past where you are here. I don’t necessarily have the right answers, but I think very few people took his taking time away thing for what it actually was and it was a cry for help. The man has lost an incredible amount of weight, he looks gaunt, he isn’t sleeping, and a few vacations are not going to break that loop. If you guys care about the man, turn him towards you and let him use you. What are his biggest bottlenecks? Ok how can the community potentially alleviate some of said bottlenecks? Topic sourcing, content and background research, production of the video, and yes while there are some things that can’t be put out to the community, the engagement in the process itself will make the channel better. Good platforms can be built by few people but great platforms are built by many people..that’s the beauty of open source. So find a way to use the 3M fanatical fans you have to help your channel scale for all of our sakes and to those 3M stop wasting your time telling me to start a channel when the reality is he killing himself

If I were him I would have people submit their ideas of what to cover on a landing page and have people organically up and down vote them. Then once a topic gets picked, utilize the viewer base to help construct the background work so you can scale the model. This is the difference between AJ and Art Bell. Art Bell’s guests were the source and the viewers helped Art figure out what was BS or not. So there is a way for this all to work, but it’s not by managing his time better, it’s not by coming in hot with a new big video, that’s not what brought people here. It’s about finding truth. However if you were the consumer, a real and not sycophantic consumer of their product, would you be so understanding with, let’s say, a delivery of a mattress you bought that was so late you have to stay up until midnight?
