Point-Crawl Print-Outs
🕑 Added 2023-01-15 17:59:00 +0000 UTCHi everyone! I hope you're all well. Just a quick post today with some black and white printouts for running point-crawl sessions. I've been using them when testing a little solo system i'm creating, so I thought I'd drop them on here. π
Maps on the left, and helpful tables to the right to spark some ideas when playing solo or planning a session.
Have fun point-crawling! π
Thanks for your support!

I think an overland point-crawl would work well with Four Against Darkness! I tend to use point-crawls more abstractly, but I suppose coming across a single cabin versus a frozen plain would be quite different. Once the point-crawl has been filled in, you could always draw a little map sketch of the playable area for each location. You could also use the 'Frozen Location Zones' from the Scenario builder, for example, to find out what points of interest are within that area of the Frozen Waste point-crawl. π

yep very much thought of them for random exploration, play to find out solo adventuring, and could leave you with a mini-setting afterwards, - I'm playing 4 Against Darkness and this feels like a nice overland add on. One thing that I might ask/suggest, are all letter locations the same 'scale' - or how do you manage wide expanses etc ...

Thanks Nyghtwind! I may update and add to them soon. π I've been using them for solo play, but you could use them for session planning as well. The letters to the left are 'location points', the lines between are connections (passable roads etc.). Once I move my character/party to a new 'letter location', I roll on a couple of tables to see what can be found there, and make notes beside the relevant letter π

I think I love where this is going but instructions on how you use them would be great.
