Poe2 Test mods
🕑 Added 2024-12-28 22:54:31 +0000 UTCLooking into ways to mod poe2. Makes default outfit for sorc and witch nude and the elven mtx armor nude. To enable the mod: change to dx11 instead of 12 in game settings, and disable cpu multi-threading. This will likely limit your fps to ~30 unfortunately. Place files into the root directory of the game. To enable and disable the mod after, pres F2 and change the cpu multi-threading setting. The character may also look glitched in the menu.

I think the crashing was caused by not initially setting the game to DirectX11 so that's my bad. But the mod still isn't showing up in the game.

Not sure if I did something wrong or if things just recently broke but the game crashes when I run it with the files in my game directory.

I honestly don't expect much more till the rest of the classes are dropped and we get closer to release. Is Vulcan an option or will that crash?

Only issues I had were like 90% just dx11 crapping out causing 2 crashes. And 1 phantom blue screen from something nvidia related exploding? Yeah idk, haven’t had a blue screen in years lol. Once most things are in cache it’s much more stable fps. Stopped using it for now just to actually progress this character a bit

Leaving the multithreading on for me was causing a lot of flickering with the mod on so i had to disable it.

Update: I didnt change settings before dropping the files in and it immediately crashes before getting to the login screen lol. Skill issue on my part, but it works fine after swapping to dx11. Left Multithreading on and its working just fine, still getting 150+ fps just fine, still playing with the settings a bit to see if its possible to get rid of the hitching though

It's a shame for the low fps, I'll wait until the problem is fixed before playing this game again
