Nothing This Week (..burnout.....)

For the first time in quite a long while, I don’t have anything prepared to upload this weekend. I’ve been running myself thin trying to balance four projects simultaneously, two of which involved a not insignificant amount of startup work and preproduction, and admittedly I’m feeling some serious mental fatigue and burnout during these last two weeks in particular.
A few years ago, I posted a statement about refocusing my mentality on this platform to prioritize the bigger, more narrative-led projects that may have resulted in gaps between posts instead of trying to force myself into making something small and quick just to meet a self-imposed weekly upload schedule. Well, for a long time I was kind of able to do both, and it was working well. However, we’re now currently at that point where that working pace has gotten the better of me.
There may be some more absent weeks like this here and there in the foreseeable future as I concentrate on these projects, but also while I ease up my own workload a bit in order to mentally decompress through this burnout phase. I'm not doing a full-stop, just slowing the pace.

That's okay, man. A good vacation and rest is often beneficial on the long run. I advise a bit of nature/sport. It really helps me.
