I think it's more that he knows the risks, and is willing to risk it fighting for freedom. He sees this as their chance for an actual life and not one on the run, like Cinder's suggesting.

Frost is super naive, I don’t think he realizes if he is caught or even seen using his powers he is as good as dead.

Next page sort of explains it a little, but remember that Cinder quite literally abandoned Frost/stopped speaking to him for years without explanation, and Frost didn't know there even was a resistance back when he was hoping for one more day of normalcy. Frost's actions here are those of someone who's always anticipating rejection or abandonment, and deals with it by pushing people away.

Did Frost just threaten to break up with Cinder for not telling him about a terrorist group hiding out in the ruins of an old burned down village when earlier in the comic he hid the newspaper from cinder so he could have "One more normal day" before going out on the run. I feel so much frustration for our little black pupper. I hate that feeling you get when people are mad at you and you don't understand why. :,(

I'm confused about what's happening, I thought Frost wanted a normal life too. Why is he so upset? Also, does the resistance actually fight the government? Doesn't that make them a terrorist group?
