May was a bit of a rough month, but the weather has finally turned over here and the sunlight is definitely a help after months of cold and rain! I messed up and forgot to post the final TSoS page (my memory has gotten so bad in lockdown??) so that's coming soon! Now, onto the update: stream dates and commission info ;)

COMMISSIONS
As y'all know, I haven't taken on commissions in a very very long time. I had a backlog of comms in my Unique Unicorn tier, and I'm still working through that. Burn out contributed to falling behind; I just stacked up way too many perks on the Patreon to also balance the stacking commissions. So all-in-all it was necessary to slow down and catch up. That said, I'm hoping that by the end of summer I will be finished with the current list of comms I have! At that point, I'll consider taking on a very small number of commissions. (One a month, or on an as-I-have-the-time basis.) I basically never want to be in the position of having a backlog again; I'd prefer to take on comms only when I know I have the time set aside to complete it immediately. I'll be opening up to patrons first, so you guys get dibs ;) It will likely happen near the end of August or beginning of September, so keep an eye out.
These new comms would be going toward my top surgery fund too, so you'll be helping me feel healthier and getting some art out of it ;) <3
All that said, thank you for your patience with me as I slog through what has easily been the longest period of burnout I've ever experienced in my art. It was really difficult, and a lot of the time I felt like a failure when things that once came easily just...didn't work anymore. Like my brain had flipped the off switch, and I couldn't flick it back. You guys have always been incredibly understanding, and I can't express how much I appreciate that.

Aww thanks! I hope I can keep things balanced and healthier now that I've learned from this ^_^* It's a hard cycle to break for sure; it tends to compound itself over time, which is why I just had to fully stop taking on anything new and reduce workload in general. Hopefully means we can work together on a comm in the near future though :D

I’m glad you’re still making progress getting yourself into a healthier spot! It sounds like you’re doing a good job of pacing yourself coming back. Burnout and backlogs make a terrible vicious cycle. That said, if/when you decide you’re ready to take some commissions, I’ll definitely be interested in putting my name in the hat, especially knowing what they’re helping to fund! Looking forward to all of it!
