I still can’t watch Ted’s scene with Dr. Sharon without weeping. That tragedy shaped his entire mindset, to try to be of help to anyone and everyone around him. The sad thing is he doesn’t think of himself needing help that way, and until recently has suffered in silence for a very long time because of it.
