We stan Anya's calling out of Willow in this Household. And boy, do we NOT stan Tara. She was willing to put Willow's feelings above the overall need for a group of people to survive a situation. She's like the opposite of Spock. Thank goodness she'll only be around for a few more episodes.

Willow is actually a Scoobie that Spike had a couple moments with, he was vulnerable with her and she listened. I think he has a soft spot for her, probably also why he assisted in the Family episode with proving Tara was a human. He denies he cares but we all know that’s a lie.

A very small moment that caught my eye on this rewatch ... When Anya was arguing for Willow to try magic, Spike was just barely visible being on the side of leaving Willow alone, arguing against Anya. It was just a comment, saying, "Look ..." and a moment later a little eye roll. But I like the thought that Spike would try to defend Willow. Also, I agree ... any episode with Clem is a good episode.

My theory is, after they both become demons they sort of have a short fling or at least they do it or something because the look she gives her in this episode. It looks kind of pleasant.
