Watch the scene with the doctor again, she explains everything. The show got “controversial” as the terminally online neo-puritans found reasons to be mad. Problem was they were so busy seeing who could clutch their pearls the hardest, they overlooked the very obvious real problem, bad writing. I had fun watching it because I love bad Canadian genre, but “fans” got all up in their feels about this goofy show. Apparently many of them had never heard of bisexuality or non monogamy. Bo’s a succubus, being bi and non monogamous isn’t a choice for her.
