There was a nice moment that you may have missed...When Miles was watching teary eyed as his father had baby Miles on his lap, then his dad came out and said "Miles! I need you." and Miles was like, "You do...?"

It's a great episode! The part where Hurley tries to play matchmaker for Miles and Pierre is so sweet :)
