[Blog] Update on some projects

Sorry I haven’t been so active this month. I was working hard on a big commission that I've mentioned before, but things fell through. The person who commissioned me ended up scamming me and didn’t pay the full amount. It was a huge project aiming for a 30-minute animation, something I’ve never done before, so I was really bummed when it didn’t work out.
I still plan to post the full animation for Patreon members. I’m not sure yet if I’ll hire voice actors or get sound work done for this animation (a 30-minute project can get pricey). I’ve learned my lesson about accepting commissions and will be more careful in the future.
I’m going to do an animation with Byleth just to practice some stuff for future projects. So, expect a 2-minute Byleth animation either this week or next. After that, I’ll get back to working on Hilda.
For the next Xc2 animation, I haven’t started anything yet, but it will be the next thing I dive into after the Byleth animation.
As for Xc3 stuff, I’m not up for any Xc3-related work right now. I’m feeling a bit burnt out from that commission. Sorry if that’s disappointing, and I hope you understand.

Appreciate it. If anything, the situation makes me just want to do more animations here. But will probably take it easy for a week or two since and see how it goes.

Yeah will definitely do that from now on. I felt guilty at the time to take the whole amount at first so I just decided to take a portion and trust that them to see it through.

Yeah which I still on posting, just trying to figure out the sound work and VA for this animation. Also I never shared the full animation with person who told the commission, so if I just post it, I feel like they got what they wanted. Its a weird situation tbh.

It started at 6000 usd for 20 mins of Mio, it later changed to 10000 usd for 30 mins of Mio and Nia.

That's a big shame about the commission. In hindsight the 30 min length is something I never seen before.

I sent a post in the Discord server, but my gosh. I hate when commissioners do that. That is why you have to always ask for payment first before working on the commission.
