Another week, another progress update!
Let's jump right into the games again! There is nothing new to share again, sadly, but I'll have something to say regarding the whole situation soon. I just want to clarify a few things that have been gathering again lately regarding "Just remake the characters" etc. But not today. There is also some things I want to talk about regarding MNF2 soon.
Okay, game talk time.
I'm happy to announce that the script for the next prequel update is completed and is currently being checked by my proofreader, Beege. This means that I will most likely be done with all the renders this week as well, which makes a release on the weekend very very likely. I actually don't have to make that many renders anymore since I prepared decently enough, so I can 100% keep my promise with releasing the next update this month. The end of this update will probably surprise some of you, but I think in a good way. I really need your feedback once you can play it, so don't hesitate to yell at me if you think I've done it bad. Anyway, todays render is Lea and Sabrina in the famous pool, a scene that is wholesome and funny, especially since they know that he will join Katharina in the sauna soon...They know about his crush on her, after all. Still, this whole event gives you some very interesting info regarding Lea and what she means to the MC. She offers him something that he greatly accepted later when he moved away with Anna, for example, and I feel like adding little things like this will make the main game even more enjoyable once I can work fully on it again. But yeah, I'm super happy that I was finally able to finish the script for this day, it took me waaaaay too long and I'm really really sorry about that. I just hope the wait was worth it in the end, but you can be the judge for that!
Since I only have to do the renders for the next prequel update, I was writing a lot for the main game as well. After the great feedback I got regarding the Morgan event in Chapter 3 ( the one in the mexican restaurant and in the park ), I feel like she needed one of those moments with the MC again. Now that he has his memories back they can talk freely about things she usually doesn't like to share when Anna or anyone else is around, at least when you are on the trans route with her. It's going to be more on the emotional and cute side, since the MC has always been the one person she relied on the most during difficult times. That's why Morgan is probably the happiest of them all that he has his memories back, since this means they can continue like they did before. And as you might remember, Sarah said a few things regarding that as well and...Well, Sarah will also be someone they'll talk about. Let's just say Morgan has a pretty good instinct to see when something is going on in the household and she observed the MC and Sarah pretty closely these last few weeks. I wonder what she could mean with all the things she's going to say, though...
And I think that's it for now. Like usual, I'll keep you guys posted if anything new comes up. Stay tuned for the next prequel update supporters ( and former supporters as well, like I promised ). Until then, stay awesome, like usual!

Possibly genetics?? Maybe they do age, just slower than the general 'Pop'. Maybe it does not 'kick in' until "You" reach 30-35 yrs old. (Which would be fine once you hit Adulthood; but a B**** to be 18 for 10-15 yrs.).

It will be the same family except jumped forward in time. It seems non of them age which is an interesting take from the original. Maybe we will get an actual reason why they don't actually age at some point in mnf 2.

I Totally Agree with Neko-Chan. I fell in Love with the story of NMF first! Question about "My New Family 2". Is it going to be a continuation of the Original cast & story, or totally new characters? A New Family?

Oh I like the story too. It's just after playing MNF and jumping to MNM I see huuuuge difference in quality of pics and animation, which adds a lot to the story and quality of the game. With HS2 there some plugins that rise qulity but mostly the genitals is the biggest issue with HS2. Overall I just with K7 will continue MNM for a while there ton of characters and things that can happen. So if it'll continue for few more years that'd be great.

There will be subtle differences, but the main difference is gonna be that you get more topics to talk about with Morgan on the trans route

I'm not gonna use DAZ for MNF2, it's either going to be HS1 ( like you see in the Christmas special ) or HS2. I think remaking the MNF chars and keeping their "charme" with daz3d is just not possible. And I like that I have the "My New Memories" game(s) for daz, while My New Family stays Honey Select

Its really weird to me how many people are screaming for "real renders". It was never about renders at all. Instead It was always about if writer can present scene properly or not. Setting the right mood, atmosphere and overall scene leading to it is worth more then "real porn" graphics to me and always will. HS2 has monstrous advantage over any "real" renders. Any and all imperfections are hidden because its not 'real' and mind can create the rest. Not to mention the speed of creating HS2 over 'real'. Eternum and Ripples are most iconic VN games to date and they are not 'real' Big content and superb writing trumps any 'real' renders. P.S The main reason why VN games hit it of so well in the first place and are easily rolling over actual porn videos is because of the scene that they can create. Any good writer can write extremely good story and put reader in the right seat for full joy. real Porn could never do anything of the sort.

Out of curiosity, if we are not on the trans route with Morgan will there be some kind of small difference in the story to reflect this, in respect to morgan not being trans? In other words since she isn't trans, there won't be any mention of it at all, and the story just goes on as normal between the two characters? Not sure how to explain what I mean.

You say that, but if he changed the characters to daz, they simply would not be the same characters from the MNF story. Just me but I think it would loose so much of what made MNF so good. It really isn't about the graphics its about the stories. Like the lucy story, which even to this day as not been eclipsed by any other vn and i've played many of them for their stories. I know many people plays these games only for the graphics and not the stories, and all they do is rush through the content and only look at the images. I honestly don't understand that mentality. Surely such people would benefit going to an actual adult website. I know that MNF needs to progress and improve visually to keep up the standards K7 has set himself, but and this again is just my opinion, you can never replace HS Lucy with any daz model, no matter what is done to it, she is a very special character and so called improvement would be a downgrade imo, it was the lucy story that got me hooked into these vn's for the first time, so she does mean a lot to me. No matter if he does upgrade or downgrade in my eyes Lucy and co, I will still happily play MNF 2 so long as it is as good as the original, which will take some real doing, since it was so good!

I hope that Killer7 continue work on a main game soon, not sure why do we even need that prequel, but I really like the progress made in main game, as for MNF2 I hope Killer7 won't go back to HoneySelect2 models, it's really different level of quality when he switched to DAZ, HS2 sucks in so many ways...
