I feel like whatever that dream is, is either the same or directly correlated to the dream luffy has and the one we still don’t know. Why would he have been naturally drawn to the fruit otherwise?

While they are indeed still in control while awakened, I do feel like there’s still is a part of the fruit that is possessing them as they’re awakened, because they do show traits that they normally wouldn’t show otherwise. Even their awakening animations look as if something out of this world is helping them get to that point of awakening

According to the Doc's theory I wonder what the person with the most broken fruit(NIKA) dream is and what will it manifest into . All theory of course lol. Also he said awakened zoans tend to lose there sanity, on the surface with lucci and luffy it looks like that but for me its like they leaned into who they truly are at there core shits interesting.
