I had an idea, for poetic reasons. Personally I thought it might have been the scrapped Avatar The Last Airbender scenario. Her mom got reincarnated as a Will-o-Wisp instead of Monkey-Bat like Monk Gyatso. Would that be better or worse than a Slime?
