Modular Transitions
🕑 Added 2024-01-29 18:15:40 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Here it finally is. Our most requested map and probably one of the most useful ones.
It's a collection of tiles you can use to seamlessly transition from a Modular Map and Modular Compatible Map to another. Now you can make your own Modular Maps even bigger!
This pack contains 13 different assets
- Caves - Sewers
- Caves Mines x3 (Room and end of rails)
- Caves - Forest
- Caves - Dungeon
- Forest - Dungeon
- Sewers - Street
- Street Walls x5 (Street to any exterior)
The Street Walls are made to transition from Modular Street to any exterior (or any map really).
Here is an example transitioning from Modular Forest to Modular Street to Modular Sewers.
You can also use these transitions to link any other combination of those. For example, you can transition from Modular Forest to Modular Sewers using their respective transitions passing through Modular Caves.
This is one of our most experimental releases to date, and all tiles are made as generic as possible so they can fit in any setting, so please don't hesitate to share your feedback and suggestions with us.

For Foundry users, you may need to add some walls to block vision in certain cases.

The Dungeon Archive
There are not transitions between variations at the moment. Making transitions between variations would create an unmanageable amount of tiles. If you are interested in a specific transition, I would recommend you edit them yourself. It wouldn't be too hard with basic editing knowledge. You can do so by creating a transition between the variation and the original transition. In an editing software, place both tiles on top of each other and smoothly erase or mask half of one of them. Now you'll have a transition like: base tile A > edited transition A/B > base tile B. I hope this helps and you don't find it too much of a hassle.

Is there an option to transition from one of the Sewer Variants like Foggy or Lava to caves?
