Update: Treasure Island, PoseViewer 3.0 Trailer, Misc

Let's get right to it 😉
Treasure Island:
We have the final Shape of the Island!
Next will be adding placeholders for the main locations. We are also working on a procedural Road system and Vegetation right now. I would love to have a version of the Island end of March/beginning of April, where you can run around and get a better feeling of it with Vegetation, Rocks & Cliffs. Basically, like the small part we have in the first Proof-of-Concept, just at a bigger scope.
There is also progress on the Sex-System! We are currently working on developing a basic build & snap system so you will then be able to create Orgies 🥳😏We also plan to bring back the Move-Maker-System from EP5&6 where you could select multiple poses and have them play one after the other. So you can then create your own Porn-Movie sequence 😁
Please keep in mind everything is a work in progress there, UI, Background etc. It´s purely to figure out the functionality and technical things.
Oh, and I am preparing all the Sex-Animations for Treasure Island. Which includes going in the Source Files, adjusting the hierarchy rig, fixing stuff, and exporting. Takes ages because there are so many files and things to consider, but it will be our foundation for everything UE5 related Characters. So it´s definitely worth it 💪

Probably next week it will be live on Affect3D. The Steam Version is delayed a bit because of some weird SDK bug from the Steam-API and the coder who works on that is moving right now. But as soon as he is back, we are on it again.
Other than that PoseViewer for PC is considered final and we move on to focusing on Treasure Island. There is another coder working on the Android-Port, but this will take a bit. We will, of course, keep you posted 🫡
Misc:
Voice Overs for Trinity's Interview and Episode 9 - Round 2 are in the works. I have not heard back from one of the Voice-Artists, I hope she is still in Business. Will keep you posted as well of course!

Again very cool idea for the transitions, but technically not doable right now. That would require committing a lot of resources to just getting transitions right, IF it can be done at all. Right now we are very very tight on money and have to be as efficient as possible. I hope that will be better later this year. I do want Minigames for sex, but not compulsory. The compulsory stuff will be finishing quests in order to increase the relationship-status with that specific character so you can engage in... naughty stuff 😋

Okay, when you put it like that, it sounds way more ambitious! 😆 Maybe down the road. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a system that could just do that for you? Depending on the first position it could contort within *realistic* physical constraints to the next position. I'm sure you'll get right on that! 😆 And, of course, my thoughts on the mini-game are really just the idea of having an additional challenge with a reward/punishment system behind it depending on their performance, pushing the story forward. But, I can understand that some might not like that.

Cool ideas in general, but: - Transitions. I would have to make 6400 animations to cover all transitions from each pose to each pose. I am definitely not going to do that ;) - Mini Games: Yes, but only optional. I definitely want to have some interactive Mini-Games (maybe similar to Brittany Home Alone) but they should not be compulsory. But since it´s a Sandbox game and you can choose what you do next, you can also engage in the Sex-Minigames if you want. If you don´t you go for the regular thing :) There will also be a relationship system, so you have to earn your trust with other characters in order to be able to have sex with them. At least in the Story-Mode. In the Sandbox mode, we will have "Quick Jerkoff" mode as you saw in the Video ;)

That’s a cool idea but I have a concern about that. People may not want to engage in a mini game while enjoying the sex scenes play out. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the update, PM! Things are looking great! Rrally looking forward to how the sex system will turn out. It's something that is just kind of missing out in the wild. A good one, at least. I'm hoping for something smooth with transitions and the like, between poses. And a little more control, without abrupt and wonky starts and stops. As a reference, take a look at the interactive bath scenes in Red Dead Redemption 2. I think that might be the closest to how I think it would work. And, ya know, I just had another idea! What about a sort of mini-game using the sex system? A sort of rhythm game, where your performance determines the outcome of your quest. I don't know what you all had in mind, but I think different ways you can incorporate the sex system into the game would make it feel more a part of it than just a side feature. I feel "sex quests" could and should be more central to driving the game forward.
