Episode 7 - Interactive is gold!

finally, some good news: EP7-Interactive v1.0 reached gold status(=done!) 🥳
It will soon show up on Affect3D as well but in the meantime, I uploaded it on Mega (4.7 GB) so you can get it from there already now.
Please keep in mind: the interactive version is just a bonus product to the movie. The interactive part really is only changing materials (I mentioned that before) but that works fucking great 😉 We learned a lot about Unreal's way of handling stuff the hard way (no pun intended) and can therefore use that experience in future Games. We had to almost re-do everything in order to optimize it to be playable at all. But it´s finally done 😊
The default settings are set in a way that the visuals look good and the performance is also good (at least on our test computers). The best way to increase the performance is to reduce the resolution scale on the slider. Unreal then renders it internally at a lower resolution and scales it back up to your screen resolution. There is almost no difference in the visuals, but it's a lot faster. And if that is not enough, you can still reduce all other settings to "low".
Minimum requirements for EP7-Interactive are:
- OS: Windows 10/11
- Processor: INTEL i5, AMD Ryzen 3
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1060, AMD Radeon RX 570

PS: Known Issue is that the Hair occasionally behaves weirdly in the first part with the car. It's an Unreal Bug, we can´t fix that.
PPS: If you should run into issues you can try the Developer-Version and send us the log files. Once you start the game, there is a "Saved" folder with another sub-folder "Logs" created in your local game directory. Please send us the Log-Files at info@3dxhub.com or on our Discord Server.

The interactive Version is not yet released on Affect3D, it will be in a week or so. However, it is just a bonus to the movie. Ok so if I upgrade to $15 tier you’ll send me a code for one of the versions. How do I get the updated material swap version that you just did? I checked A3D and it doesn’t mention anything about a patch or update for the releases.

hm... Please try putting everything on low. If that fixes it, try step by step increasing the settings.

Got it running after a reboot, but it's filled with white noise, like sparkly highlights you'd see on water, but covering everything. I tried turning down resolution and other settings but no change. 5,6, and pose viewer all run fine.

It´s really just swapping materials, nothing more. All the customization stuff and more sophisticated things are/will be in the PoseViewer. We will also add the Poses from EP7 next.

Is swapping materials changing skin and clothing colors and such? Or does it mean having different clothing options?
