Wayward kamis and malignant yokais drawn by Wadatsumi's powers find their way across the seas to haunt and terrorise the island and its inhabitants. Thus it fell to Kayo, the island's chief shrine maiden with the power to fight Wadatsumi-sama's enemies in his stead. i can totaly understand the Wayward kamis and malignant yokais, who would not want to get Kayo and make her have fun in the deepest darkest of the underwater floor where no light can even reach >:3c i know i would >:D
