BDR Chevy Squarebody Race Truck (Fixed 0.34 Update!)
🕑 Added 2024-09-20 09:07:57 +0000 UTCAt this point this mod is hella old and I have done all I can to update it for now. Over a year ago I lost the blend file for this truck and I cannot take the 3d model out of the mod because it is locked.. So the update that I have done is strictly a functionality update. The Mesh has remained the same and will remain the same.
Here is the list of changes so far:
- Added all the new BDR wheel's and tires as spares and added them to the configurations.
- New 3rd Member Gear ratios
- New Converter stall's
- New Transmission now a Turbo 400
- Engine horsepower Decreased from just shy of 900 down to 560.
- Changed the truck's weight bias
- Removed 800lbs from the chassis
- Strapped up the rear suspension droop
- Increased front Uptravel
- Increased front Droop
- Stopped interior seats from shaking as bad.
- Introduced some new nitrogen pressure adjustments in the shocks
- Introduced adjustable bump stop shim stack
- And finally new shock jbeams all around
This Chevy was loosely based off of a truck from Real life, some of you may know which truck. Needles to say I'm not gonna link his social media.
This mod now uses the BDR wheel and tire pack specifically, that is the ONLY wheel and tire pack that you need for this mod to work. All future bdr mods will be using that pack. And I will be updating older mods with those as well coming here soon.

great car, but there seems to be no engine sound when in camera path editor after doing a replay. is this on my end or something to do with the mod? this isnt the only mod that does this.

Hello, new to BeamNG and mods but I’m loving this Chevy it’s so far one of my favorite trucks to use? Do you think we’ll ever get another version of it or maybe ways to change horsepower? 560 lets it move pretty well but I’d like to be able to bump to it 700-800

Got it figured out. Deleted the old one reinstalled the updated version but I did not clear the cache. Will this be an issue ?
