Hello folks, it's time for the March 2018 dev diary!
Sorry for being so late, Sabu’s been a bit busy with real life stuff but here it is now! Nothing serious but it ate up some time so here we go!
Last month, we’ve gotten a look at the Sex Arcade game’s makeover and getting up to the Shopkeeper. She’s gotten a shiny new look, is more talkative now, and has much more polished artwork and many colourful new toys in the background.
This month, there’s some new dialogue in here, welcoming the player to the Arcade’s staff facilities.
One of the things she will introduce you to is your own home away from home, after a short little quest to get going to your room and to get ready for the first day of Hostessing by accessing the new level, the Sex Arcade living quarters, from which the player can access their living quarters (and others, once they’ve progressed enough).
Once you enter your room, you’ll notice a few things for you to play with; a bed for sleeping in (or not sleeping in) and progress time, a freeplay version of the Booth Area, a poster for the room that can be switched up to show some previous Sex Arcade pics, and some room for trophy racks and such.
More pictures will be unlocked as the game continues and more and more stuff gets unlocked. There will be other cosmetics as well that will unlock when the player completes certain tasks, eventually filling a trophy cabinet and adding to the look of the player’s room.
There’s a computer there as well, which the player can use to access subject and hostess dossiers, profiles on various characters both subjects and colleagues, and other bits of information about the Sex Arcade and relevant topics. There’s also a Gallery feature, which will allow the player to access everything they’ve unlocked in terms of SA animations and artwork. In addition there’s also the emails section which will fill out what the player is doing and help them keep track of what they’re doing.
Headed back to the Shopkeeper, she’s got even more dialogue to show off now for some info, then off to the booth area we go. The booth area is still under construction, but the important things are there; the progress pie chart for a booth’s progress and the ability to get into the booth itself.
The booth’s base gameplay is still the same as before, but there’s nothing new is implemented past this point; everything else will be coming in the future builds of the game once it’s been added to the game.
Sabu has also added in four new Patron avatars, leaving just two left. Once more; if Associated Patreon Patrons have avatars to be done, make sure to tell Sabu that you want your portrait done!
Up next month; animations for the Shopkeeper Lily, much like Matron Jen, adding new systems for the computer and other parts of the player’s room, as well as the backgrounds/hub areas for the game. Once that’s completed, we’ll be back in action for more booth goodies and THE BLOWJOB SYSTEM.

Ran into the text issue as well. There's a window that says WIN32 function failed: HRESULT: 0x8007000e then on another line Call: GR_D3D_Device->CreateTexture2D at line 552 in file \TexturesM.cpp And another one with the same except it's 0x80070057 and the next line is at 592.

That's how far the game goes right now, I will be adding more progression each month, but at the moment the player can't progress further.

Ive noticed that as well but it's my first time playing so im not sure if that is supposed to happen?

Returned to Staff Area after completing a shift. Shop Keeper Lily says “Are you lost?” Click option “What do I need to do again?” Lily instructed me to take elevator up and meet her at booth 079 for first shift again.

Can’t progress through Quest. “Meet Shop Keeper Lily in Booth Area”. I’ve done Power Girls shift like 4 times now and nothing has changed

The moment i saw an email from you with this message, I started the game to see any texts and to my surprise all the texts were there as if there was no problem. So i dont know what to think of it now. Just to be sure, i closed and opened the game several time, no problem with the texts, i event reinstalled to be sure and there was still the texts, so it might have been on my end. The only thing that i did from my first post to this one was to update my video card driver and nothing else.

There is any area of the game where the texst shows up? like in the dialogue boxes, or the credits menu, etc?

I did uninstall and reinstall several time to no avail, And no, no error message nothing, i just start the game and there is no texts

hum.. that's really weird, its the first time heard this kind of problem, I really don't know what it might be, Maybe trying uninstall the game completely and re-installing again? I will try looking into it but that would be easier if there was some kind on error message, anything like that show up?

Hey there! thanks Tecyde! glad you like how the game is looking so far ^^ as for your question, that's how far the game goes right now, but I will be adding more progression in the next months ^^
same thing, maybe the rest is not implemented yet.

Where there is supposed to have text, its blank, like no play game, option credits, exit text. Even inside the game there is no text, like where is must say living room or power girl, no text. To have text i must install 0.1.0 then uninstall, then install 0.1.1. But its only temporary. Because i did it this morning, then this not text bug came back when i tried to play tonight.

waw : This game is becoming gorgeous ! Incredible job ! I can not wait the final product ! Is It normal that the ending of the first shift is not taken in account by Lyly ? She continues to say that I must finish it....
