on the topic of the undertale thing, it reminds me of a conversation i had with someone where they vehemently argued that gatekeeping in fandom is essential and i just couldn't understand it, fandoms aren't static things and are meant to be interacted with by people, it is a large volatile mess with good and bad in it but that's just what happens when things rise and fall in popularity, its the nature of art, and i argued that even the "changing of the guard" for fandoms when they explode in popularity is just the natural course of things. more importantly, i feel like its similar to spoilers for media, what other people say about it, cannot change what that media meant to you when you interacted with it, you will still hold that experience as your own, no matter what

I just played Disco Elysium for 3 days so that I can finally stop worry about spoilers in these. I thought it was a bit thick when I had put it down a year ago but Gee oh Man did I really like it by its conclusion.

Bottle Episodes are almost always the best episodes of any sitcom, tight character focus, good dialogue, the essence of everything good about the show boiled down without setpieces or spectacle. Wanting the theme park instead of the car ride is just silly.
