I don't know if this ever happens to you, but sometimes I want to make a silly video but the more I read on the subject the more I think "Oh Jesus, people just HAVE to hear this."
This is one of those videos. It's already out of date (I cannot maintain pace with Musk's incompetence), but trust me, you'll wanna hear some of the shit in this one if you haven't been following the story obsessively (like me.)

Yeah, we'd all rather he not have screwed it all up this failson-y no matter how bad it started out as, but it's not as if any of us have any ability to stop or right it soooooo. "The fact that Jeff Bezos has announced that he's going to donate a bunch of his fortune also makes me think that the ruling class as a whole is afraid of the way this will affect capitalist narratives." The same faux-philanthropy as ever. Get tax benefits, set up a "legacy", all based on robbing the workers and social services.

I know that Etsy sellers, freelance artists, and sex workers depend on social media to find clients and that this mess is going to cause a lot of harm to a lot of people. But god damn is it fun to see Musk's public image collapse in real time.
