Yes, I love Faith's hesitation. Faith has always had that swaggering bravado, and now she can't muster it to walk past Wesley and Giles to retrieve her knife. There's hope for her.

I understand Wesley. Gets disrespected just because he's the new guy and now he got his chance to go "nah nah nah nah". The scoobies aren't always the most considerate. Look how Faith turned out.

One thing I've noticed about Faith's moment of hesitation--it's right after she has saved Wes from the spider. She still has the slayer's instinct to do that, and I think that may have been what really shook her.
