“It just keeps coming, Glory, Riley, Tara, Mom”. Just one sentence encapsulates how much Buffy has been through this season. I think Glory taking Dawn was the last straw for Buffy as she feels she’s failed in her promise to Joyce to take care of Dawn,

In Listening to Fear, Joyce made Buffy promise that she would take care of and protect Dawn if she died. Of course, Buffy would have taken care of Dawn and wouldn't be any less upset about Glory taking Dawn if she hadn't promised Joyce, but on top of all the other reasons to sit on the ground with that look on her face, Buffy is breaking a promise to her dead mother.
