Yeah, that story Petricles told Gabrielle about having Xena in his grasp and he didn’t want her anymore. Maybe the reason why was because he did fall in love with her and he didn’t want to own her anymore. So it wasn’t cruel. It was benevolence.

This one always ends up being better than I remembered it. Not that I ever thought it sucked or anything, but it has a good bit more fun than comes to mind whenever I first think of it. I like the search for buried treasure in particular, and I really like Gabrielle’s encounter with the priest. Good old Nonamia; there’s no place like it.
