Have to agree with Lane’s crush: Lorelai is a babe lol. I had such a thing for Lauren Graham when the show aired. Alexis Bledel is also strikingly beautiful but I preferred Lauren. I think the Luke/Lorelai ship was a precursor to Hopper/Joyce from Stranger Things

It's so interesting to see that Lorelei sees herself in Lane's relationship with her mom, even though at first glance their upbringings seem so different. On rewatch now, I can see why Lorelei has such a soft-spot for Lane.
